anyone ever heard of blucigs?

I know there is a subforum around here somewhere for Blu but I can't find it because (strangely enough) it is not in the Model Specific Discussion subforum.

But I KNOW it exists out there somewhere on this site, because I remember seeing someone post a link to it after someone, like you, was asking about them.

Yes, there are significant differences between most models.
Each one of them has pluses and minuses, all dependent on what you're looking for.

Just get the 510 you ordered into your hands and start using it.
Then note what you like and what you don't.

If you wind up feeling you need something different, you'll have a better idea what you're looking for.
