e liquid questions

I have a blu batteries atomizers and carts and i want to use e liquid to refill them. Blu doesnt want me to refill my carts they say it will damage my atomizers and void my warrany. i think they are just trying to get me to buy their carts. My old roomate had ordered some liquid from pecsmokeshop.com which works ok with our blus. Ive heard there are different kinds with proplyne glycol or vegitable something. im looking for the best kind to make lots of vapor and a good throat hit. Im a big fan of menthol analogs and menthol liquid or flavor in general. Does anyone here know of a good quality website that i can order some e liquid from? Im looking into ordering some as long as i can get lots of vapor and a good throat hit and is completly compatable with my blu accessorys.

First i must state this... IF you have not had your kit long... return it get your money back. Get you a joye 510 starter kit or a Joye ego. Blu offers (i think) some kind of money back warranty. USE IT!!!! Theres alot of places to get good juice from. I like myfreedomsmokes.com and madvapes.com avejuice.com just a few there are others that are just as good.

It may well void your warranty - it wont damamge your atty though afaik.
Blu users (many of whom are quite happy with the product) congregate here Blu Electronic Cigarettes - E-Cigarette Forum so once you have 5 posts you can post there if you want.
Any eliquid will work btw, lots of good companies out there selling good liquids. Its a very personal thing though is taste, so you may find you go through a few vendors before you find YOUR juice (I use TV and DIYFS, current other hot faves are backwoods brew and freedomsmokeusa which I havent tried yet)

You are correct, they are just trying to get you to buy their carts.

You'll probably need to experiment a little bit...

Propylene glycol (PG) provides much more throat hit.
Vegible glycerine (VG) provides much more vapor.

A lot of people eventually gravitate towards juices that are 80/20 PG to VG ratio.

Tasty Vapor and FreedomSmokeUSA are two places with good juice.
And they both let you choose a PG/VG ratio.

There are others as well, but I haven't tried them yet.

ive had the blu kit for about 6 months. used them for a while. put them down. and am just starting to pick them up again. juice is just juice right? if i decide i really want to get into it i can always get a better quality kit later on. Ive heard good things from a friend about the Magma from volcanocig.com. is the juice from those websites good quality? i have a bottle of some all PG menthol and i was really dissapointed with it

I use a 70/30 setting from Tastyvapors. It's personal preference...order a few different setups and you'll find one you like.

I have vaped other juices with my Blu and while it works I get a better experience all around from my 510 with the very same juices.

that being said...

Take the blu carto and with a pair of tweezers pull out the insides. ( you can also push out the insides with a unfolded paper clip ) You will find a small ( and i mean small ) plastic "cup that has foil remnants and some filling in it.

Pull the filling out and either discard or if you wish to reuse it, place it on a paper towel. ( I did several carts at a time.

fold paper towel over the filling and squezze out juice.

Rinse filling completely in the sink. Then squeeze out water with peper towel and let sit till dry.

While thats drying, take some tweezers and slowly pull off the foil remnants ( if you can find a better way use that. This method is painstakingly boring)

Rinse "cup" let dry.

Once everything is dry. you can place about 3-5 drops of your new liquid into the "cup" Then roll the filling between you fingers until it will fit back into the cup. Put the filling in and add more drops of liquid until full.

Replace the cup into the cart. Use the tweezers to push all the way down.


You are now ready to vape the Blu again.

If you need to get more filler. Fluval can be found at a pet shop REALLY REALLY cheap. I bought a HUGE bag of it for 2 dollars and I dont think ill ever need to buy more, though I believe after reading here, that fluval is not the "best" filler.

I strongly reccommend however upgrading to a 510 or an eGo as the Blu just doesnt produce like they do. I honestly liked the Blu at first but over time ( two weeks )it just couldnt meet my needs. I have yet to have an issue with the 510 and everyone here is swearing by their ego.

I just refilled some Blu carts with blue foam as the media type and it increased their performance quite a bit. It was a pain to do though, I would buy a 510 atty and carts if you really want to continue to use the Blu and just use those with the Blu batteries.

I use my 510 atty with my blu batts and it woks fine. I use them for the car because they are auto and my 510 's are manual. I refill my blu carts with 7-8 drops and get exactly 24 hits out of it which for me is two cigarettes. I use my blu when i am out and do not want to draw attention to vaping (in the mall) I think blu has its place. I didnt upgrade to a 510 for 4 mos and I still go thru days at a time where I use only my blu sometimes it helps with my wanting a cigarette looks, feels, more like a cig than the 510 manual. the 510 atty and carts will fit in the blu pack but not all put together, but they will fit in the holes.

Personally I love Johnson Creek. I try to use VG as much as I can and if you like menthol you will probably like Wisconson Frost.
My wife will not vape anything else after having that!
With that being said, I have had problems with atomizers dying rather quickly with Johnson Creeks juice. For that reason I switched to cartomizers. The blank ones seem to last longer and are a lot cheaper.
I started with the Blu, and tried refilling them as well. Eventually it seemed to me that the next logical step was to go to a 510, which performed much better. I would suggest manual 510 batteries, or if you really like the JC Wisonson Frost, V4L batteries and blank cartomizers. Then if you don't feel like refilling cartos you can have prefilled V4L Wow cartos ready to go.

i would like to go with my blus as long as i can. especially because buying a whole other kit will probably piss of the wife. she doesnt really like me vaping and doesnt really understand it. so if i can upgrade my blus she probably wont notice the difference. how well do 510 attys and carts work with blu batteries? is it all about getting a bigger 510 cart? do the 510 attys kill the blu batteries faster?

I just bought some 510 cartomizers and they work good on my blu and keeps them the same size as they originally were. They hold so much juice compared to carts, I bought min from esmoker online but shop around for the best price I think they were 7-8$ and they have really upped the useage of my blus I have been using my 510 mostly but lately the blu/carto is working good. The carto is a bit large around than the blu cart but still look ok. When buying cartos tru to get the ones with the soft rubber mouth holes they are easier to fill and dont seem to leak.

the question I have is how long does the cart last when refilled with liquid from tasty vapors........I can last all day just off two BLU prefilled carts. Will that pretty much be the same when refilled with liquid. I happen to love the BLU just would like to have more vapor and harder throat hit

I'm currently vaping with a Blu and using Vaporbomb juices. I don't have a ton a vapor with a 50/50 VG/PG blend, but I need to adjust it a bit. It can be done, a painstaking process. Check out the cart mod's section of ECF for great ideas! Enjoy your blu, it's not as bad as people make it seem.

I agree with menaice .... 510 is great! and you can find e-juice everywhere, I have used his recomended sources (all are very good) I like a 30% PG/70% VG blend that I cut for myself.
