I'm sure this is answered somewhere but I have no clue where to look.

I bought Groovy Grape by Flavor Crafters from a local vender about 2 weeks ago. I just recieved a bottle directly from FC of the same flavor but it is much lighter in color.

The one I got from the vendor is very dark colored. I don't think it is a steeping thing because the one I bought from the vendor expires only one month earlier than the one directly from FC.

Does anyone know why this is? Is it possible there was just more dye used in the previous batch? Maybe they accidently put Grape tobacco in a Groovy Grape bottle?

Thanks for any info.

see that's what I was thinking but I have the same juice that I've been vaping for a while and it's the same color as the one I got directly from FC. ACtually I got 2 bottles from FC and all 3 of those bottles look pretty much the same.

The one from the vendor is super bright/dark.

Guess only way to know is when I vape it but I'm waiting another week for it. Thanks.

I have bought juice from a vendor loved it, reordered before my bottle was empty, it was not the same!
It smelled and tasted horrid! There is no way it was the same. The second batch definately was alcohol based where as the first batch was not. I held on to the bottles for two months and still they are nasty.

My thinking is they used something different than before. Although their reply via email was that taste is subjective and maybe it wasnt the flavor for me.

Wish i hadnt ordered two 30 ml bottles from them though. I am much more cautious now. As far as color i wouldnt worry too much. I make my own juice sometimes, made a awesome strawberry cake, the firstt ime it was pink, the second time two weeks later same ingredients same brand concentrates, same base it was clear.

Tasted the same.

Also nicotine base will turn more and more yellow as air hits it. So maybe that has something to do with it.

Thanks for the responses. Glad to know the color doesn't affect it and that sometimes they are just darker. Still curious as to why though.

Some juices can darken in just 2 weeks steep

1 month is plenty of time for a juice to darken
plus how long did they have in shelf before you bought it

Many of the juice I buy the way I know its ready to be good is by the fact that it darkened

I picked up the vendor bottle the same day the vendor received it so nothing to do with the them.

Anyhow I tried some of the darker juice and there is really no difference so maybe it had something to do with the shipping like suggested.

So that was the vendors response, "flavors are subjective". Wow. My local vendor told me two weeks later that if I still didn't like juice I was concerned about, he would mix me a new batch. Personally, I would not go back to a vendor that was so callous as to the one you went too. There are plenty of vendors out there. I hope you find one that has the flavor you like and likes their customers. You don't have to put up with bad customer service!
