hello, does anybody know if i can use olive oil as a base to make my own e-liquid?

Heck no. No oils.
In general, no oils in ecigs.
The only exception is a couple of professional concentrated flavorings are not water-soluble and need special steps when used in eliquid and are used in very small amounts. But in general, all eliquids are PG and or VG base, nicotine in PG or VG (optional), water soluble professional concentrated flavoring, and sometimes distilled water or pure grain alcohol to thin thick (high VG) juices for better flow.
