I know it should be in the e-liquid section but im a new member and cant post there so i just have a little question about diy liquid flavors, what flavors can be actually extracted successfully other than coffee? Im really into making my own flavors and stuff, thanks in advance.
The companies that seriously create fllaorings for vaping and food have, or should have sophisiticated test equipment to help them look for chemicals that shouldn't be there. Consumers don't have that. I take that as a good reason not to try and create flavors, i can't test for what's in them.

Totally understand what you are saying thats why i never go for flavors like fruit flavors because of the sugars which is toxic if vaped, what i asked for is safe flavors like i can extract coffee which doesnt contain any bad things if vaped

tobacco flavors can be extracted from real tobacco using 190 proof alcohol...
Well tobacco is a kind of a pain because the extract will contain nicotin plus the tobacco type thats used its a kind of a pain and not sure if it cones out great, have you done it? Btw alcohol is one way to do it i heard it can be done by pg or vg as well

I worry about what other nasty chemicals would be in what I would extract from tobaccos and that is why I do not vape WTA e-Liquids. Just my opinion and no cold hard facts behind this train of thought.

WTA extracts is a whole different story.... lotsa chemistry involved other than soaking tobacco in Everclear...

Yeah you are right bud some flavors cant be extracted at home generally fruits, but things like coffee, tea, tobacco, vanilla and others can actually be extracted without any dangers

alcohol works the best... VG/PG takes longer times to work ( months) and is nearly impossible to filter. there is a thread under the DIY listing that goes into extreme detail on how to do it...

I like my tobacco flavors but I have avoided trying WTA flavors or extracts because I do not want anything I got in the 40 years I smoked.

WTA extracting is geared towards actually getting the alkaloids from the tobacco other than just nic... a simple alcohol soak isnt going to retrieve the alkaloids as well as the true process.

Maybe 2 1/2/ years ago it might have been beneficial but right now I don't even need nicotine. I like it and do not intend on giving it up or going lower than 3MG.
