Do e-liquids have a shelf life? The ones I have purchased all are date stamped. So how long can you hang on to them before they expire? Or do they get better or worse with time. #steeping

I just got some flavor samples from a new vendor that put an expiration date 2 year out. Being new I'm not sure how valid that is, but it's a start.
It would seem in the Do-It-Yourself community believes aging/steeping improves most flavors.

most e-liquids will have a shelf life of 1 year+ before the nic starts breaking down
most major steeping taste change is complete within the 1st 30 days - most changes after that are normally not noticeable
steeping will blend the and smooth the flavors, so it normally gets better (unless it is a flavor that you thought you might like but is nasty no matter what - taste is subjective to each person, same as food and beverage choices (I could never drink anything diet, yuck, pooey)

So you haven't tried that new low fat dehydrated, powdered, water you can get in chemists yet then ?.
I have some that are about 6 months old, I'm kinda worried to vape them now just because they have drastically changed color. I didn't know anything then about proper storage or temperature concerns ...
