Thanks mEtoke2, that's what I was thinking and it's on my probably safe list for now.

It's not easy to get Bickfords in the UK where I am Sanneke. I use LorAnn candy flavours though and am very happy with them, they're doing well. I don't know how they are affecting my atomisers though but I'll keep testing them out. The pralines and cream flavour is scrumptious.

I'd love a supplier to provide a nicotine and propylene glycol or glycerine only mix so I could add my own flavours.

Me too Kate! I'm finding the best one to use as a base so far is Wicked's Vanilla, though I confess it is the only vanilla I have tried. But it can pretty much can take most flavours and enhances some of them.

That praline & cream sounds sooooo good. That's next on my continuing hitlist!

I'm afraid I can't make head nor tail of that test report from Janty posted on the last link. It doesn't seem to say anything about testing and looking at it again, even the ingredient list is obscured. Don't get me wrong, I think that Janty is a reputable company and if they say they have had their eliquid tested I will take their word for it. I use Janty juice, I'd still like to see a proper toxicology report though. That report is printed with a SGS heading, I think this must be them - SGS - inspection, verification, testing & certification services. They must have produced a report with some substance if they were commissioned to test for safety. What does it say?

Ludo said "All our liquids, either used for cartridges or sold as liquid bottle are APPROVED TUV and approved by the University of Naples, Italy and the Italian Ministry of Health as SAFE and LEGAL for sale." 'Approved TUV' - what does that mean? I Googled TUV and got this site - Home - TV Rheinland Group It looks like a commercial lab to me. It would be good if we could see their report. 'approved by the University of Naples' - again, what did they have to say? 'Safe and legal' for sale in Italy - ok that's good but what are the requirements of the Italian Ministry of Health to prove safety and legality? Do they require clinical trials? Do the ingredients simply have to be food safe?

I'm not deliberately picking Janty as a baddie, in fact I think they are probably one of the more respectable companies we deal with. What I'm trying to say is that we really need to examine the detail of esmoking claims to gauge the standards. If they are prepared to put forward resources for analysis the most likely outcome I can see is confident customers and brand loyalty.

MacFan did say he would list his ingredients and show us the lab reports. Maybe we just need to be patient with Johnson Creek, it's a new business and they are finding their feet. The question is if they can be trusted with our health while they work things out.

And you know, if the FDA approved it over here, in 3 mo it could be recalled for killing people, so I am not sure how much being approved actually even means anymore!

I've just been looking at the cybercig website - Cybercig ,Cigarette electronique - Inhalateur de tabac - Recharge nicotine I couldn't register because they didn't have a choice in the address menu for the UK.

I was hoping to try some eliquid that has been made in the EU, it would be nice to find something manufactured nearer to home. I've emailed them to ask if they would ship to the UK so if they get back to me I'll report back here.

cheers - I'll check it out

For those of us in the UK (sorry, not sure where to put this and how relevant this is to the current thread) Royal Mail seem to be charging £8 to deliver items which have to go through customs and pay duty (some are getting through but they seem to be getting hot on it - i've found this to my detriment being an avid e-bayer ;)). Having checked the rules, items purchased up to a value of £17 for personal use (excluding postage) are exempt from customs charges and as such Royal Mail should not be able make a charge (this seems to have worked for me so far anyway, although obviously its just my interpretation of the rules!!)

Sorry Mods... please feel free to put this wherever... hehe

I heard that Freesmoke was from a Spanish pharmacy and they used potato nicotine. The only thing that kept me from ordering it was the price. Pretty expensive stuff.

I don't suppose you can remember where you heard that Karen? I'm very curious about Freesmoke and there doesn't seem to be any information about provenance on their site.

Potato nicotine sounds like it might be a way forward to argue that we aren't buying a tobacco product. That could be a good selling point for them if it's true and nicotine gets hit by regulations.

It's also rumoured to be a Spanish based website selling eliquid from a lab based in the Canary Islands and has Eastern European connections. I wonder if anyone can clarify where the eliquid is actually manufactured. I might email them and ask.

They have contact addresses on the site for Spain and Russia. I bet the eliquid is made in China, lol.

Still haven't heard from Cybercig, *sigh*.

Freesmoke have replied to my email enquiry. Their eliquid is made in a Spanish pharmacy and has been tested for toxicity they say.

So that's two European manufacturers, one North American and some Chinese we have. Personally, I'm happy with standards of care shown by Janty, Ruyan and Wicked at the moment, they're all manufactured in China. Come on everybody else, catch up!

Hello Kate,

My thought is if nicotine gets hit by regulations they won't care what plant it comes from. Nicotine is nicotine.
