E-pipe button

Hi.
im wanting to covert a pipe into a e-pipe I've made a few mods before ( copper, flashlight, box ect) now I'm wanting to try a pipe, I get the idea but the button seems to the problem, I've seen what looks like pre bought ones on other pipes? Dose anybody know where to get these or a good way to wire a mechanical switch to the top of the bowl?

Ye there the ones I was talking about. Bit expensive tho. Is the anything cheaper and in the uk? Or a way to make a good DIY one?

20 bucks for a custom machined button for a niche use isn't expensive AT ALL

Well, you're wrong. Try getting one made.
Shipping to UK and any other fees are not part of the price of the item.

You could use a pretty button/ concho as the top cap and search for magnetic switches for a cheaper alternative.

Alternatively for a first pipe you could try an eGo regulator/ switch
Ego PCB
with eGo Battery Mod Connector
or a VV eGo one Ego Variable Voltage PCB
Or even a Vamo board Vamo PCB.

Although the switches aren't expensive in what they are, £17.32 delivered and duty paid is not a cheap option to use on a £3 Houjon pipe from china
But for a nice looking pipe they are value for money.

I'm wrong? Sorry money bags! Thanks vapant. A magnetic switch sounds good. I'll get a ego pcb next time I order from liberty flights, didn't know you could buy the vamo pcb, good to know because I have one.

It's just distasteful to see someone claim that a quality custom piece is overpriced simply because it does not conform to their desired price point. And further distasteful if that price point is informed by China import prices.

If that takes shipping and fees into account -- the shipping and fees may be expensive but that doesn't make the piece expensive. This is a very reasonable price for a piece like this.

This is the non-disposable part of the equation after all.

Ok let me word it a little differently, it's a bit expensive FOR ME! Especially when I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing. I find it disgraceful that you felt the need to rant over the price of a button. Thanks for the link
