E-Pipe mod...I think im gonna try it

I love the RS-888/lady pipe....

i was thinking...if i can get all the parts...im gonna try and build one

im looking thru dealextreme for the batteries and the pipe.

i saw this pipe:

BTW..if anyone wants to try as well...please do...we can all gather resources and brain power and build something together as a community

I have been thinking about this too. Although starting with a real pipe would give the best result, there probably is insufficient space to fit the batteries, atomiser and cart.

Nice project idea nevertheless - will need some real ingenuity, this one

the batteries seem to be about 1 1/8 inch long or 27.2mm

i may head over to walmart eventually and look at some of there pipes...hmm do they even sell pipes? they have everything else

i want to see inside the bowl and see if it can accommodate that battery measurement..im sure it may have to be gutted out a bit

Wow rob they look really good...I reckon you could make some money specializing in modding pipes if you wanted.

Asidrave, I hope you noticed that Rob used 3.6/3.7 volt batteries. Same with the SD. I don't think you want to use the 3 volt batteries, probably not quite powerful enough for good result.

im definetly gonna use a 801 atomizer and cart. it would look more realistic. plus its very similar..if not the same...as the one used on the ladypipe

the 901 is too small and thin

im gonna make my mod more like the ladypipe...

as far as the cap...i am thinking of a clear plastic disk of some sort...i would like to see the battery and i would like the LED to reflect off the clear disk when installed.

i have a complete parts list from dealextreme that i ordered..i will post that list when i get home today

to keep the batter in place..i have a few ideas...i need to see the pipe bowl first

i got a RF Male connector...it fits the 801 atomizer perfectly.

the plasic center part needs to opened up a bit and shaved down so that the atomizer can screw in a bit more.

How does the RF connector compare to the one shown here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...o-battery-sacrifice-adapter-801-penstyle.html this one fits PERFECTLY, plus its already hollow. But I think you can keep that center plastic as an insulator for the positive connection, just get a brass screw and drive it all the way through the connector.

upon getting the rf connector to screw into the atomizer....it will only screw in about 1/8 of a turn..it hold tight tho and its the same thread

but...the rf connector is just a but wide.

i wanted to use that connector because it would be perfect to screw into the pipe bowl..if its not too small.

i may dremel a slit down the side of the rf connector and squeeze it and see if that will work
