My brother just got this in a few days ago. It pretty cool, nothing spectacular performance wise. It has a restricted draw but the experience while using it was pretty good. My brother is pretty happy with it although he mainly wanted it for the aesthtics.
E-pipes are mechanical. They have an output equivalent to the battery output, since there is no regulation involved with the unit. The batteries used in e-cigs, unless you make your own, are 3.7V. The output will drop when the battery is close to depletion, but using a low resistance coil is a must if you like high output. I don't know what kind of rba's will look appealing with the model though.
Don't waste your money on these. They are pretty pricey for what they are. If you really want a good one, build it yourself. Ebay, amazon and etsy all have inexpensive, decent looking pipes. They just get a switch, battery, and carto/tank/clearo. Little bit of fabricating and you'll have a nice pipe mod. This is what I'm going to do eventually. Still looking into everything.
That's funny, because I was just noticing today that I sometimes hold my ecig like a pipe, holding just the battery, and not between my index & middle finger. I guess you could put an ecig on just about any shape you wanted.
I asked the same question a few days ago. It seems most people that bought a pipe style mech mod, say they are functional, but not really that great. Kind of put me off.
I don't have the cash for it right now, but I'm interested in one from epipe mods. They are pretty pricey though, around 200+ once all is said and done.
