Unless he has modified the pipe he does not use clearomizers. This is using cartomizers. My guess is that wires maybe came unsoldered and maybe it's shorting out?
You could try a new Cartomizer but I don't think that's it.
Could also try a different battery to.
Your "heads" are your cartomizers you screw on since you are not using clearomizers from what I understand.

I try to treat all mods like cell phones. Make sure I know where it is and is not going to get scratched or dropped lol :)

Whatever's broken is broken in the 'bowl' I think. As I said in my IP, I know almost nothing about these things, including what the parts are called. Here's a photo of it:

The juice goes in the clear cylinders, which screw in between the mouthpiece and the bowl of the pipe.

Yes you do have a clearomizer and not a cartomizer. The "bowl" holds the 18350 battery and possible the contacts are not connecting to the battery and thus no power.

Here are some photos of the tanks, since they seem to be a subject of confusion/debate. They have a metal cylinder which slides up the middle. To add juice, you push the tube downward, and drip juice into the resulting opening. Inside the metal central cylinder is white plastic, with a hole in the middle.

They label that as a clearomizer but it is a cartomizer+ tank.

When the "carto" wears out you replace it with a new one. The new carto must be "punched"/ have holes in it to allow juice to enter from the tank.
If the carto is not making proper contact with the battery it won't work. You could try to "pull your post".

Ooo never even thought of the post. That might be it because I doubt the wires would become loose after one drop. They are soldered and tucked in there tight. It's pry the post or carto in the tank.

But you were right about the carto tank and I've never seen a carto tank like that before.

It's definitely the cartos.

To keep my vaping while I figure out my pipe, I ordered another setup which included a Kanger Pro Tank.

I screwed the Tank onto my pipe (it screws on fine, but looks weird and is way too short) and ... great, glorious clouds of vapor!

I tried soaking the old cartos in alcohol, pulling the pins, everything I could think of and they just don't work.

So now I need to build me a pipe mod. I hate the tanks that came with the pipe, but the mouthpiece and short length of the Pro Tank aren't gonna work either.

You can build a pipe Mod from an eGo.

Well I think you could just order 45mm cartomizers. and you'll be okay. Boge F16 refills, Smok *Single* coil Low Resistance Cartomizers. IkenVape cartomizers. just make sure they are 45mm so that you have enough tube sticking out the other end of those tanks to push your mouthpiece down onto. Don't get Dual Coil, I'd recommend only single coil cartomizers. With just a single 18350 battery, It might work but you'll probably be disappointed. And again I'd say Low Resistance or LR. 1.5-2.0 ohm..

Like these -- Boge F16 Single Coil 1.6-2.0ohm Tank Cartomizer

Or these -- Smok Single Coil 1.7ohm Tank Cartomizer

Ikenvape is out of stock it looks like which is normal LOL. they're very popular.

The reason I suggest these is because they have the flange on the bottom of the cartomizer, much like on the cartomizers your current kit came with, it stops the tank from sliding down too far. My personal preference is Boge. I've not liked the Smok so much.

(I don't have anything to do with that webstore. they are just examples. shop around for the best price.)

EDIT to add: Measure the length of your current cartomizers. I would assume they are 45mm with a shorty tank (tank meant for 35mm cartos) so that you have extra tube sticking out to slide your mouthpiece onto.

Thanks. I kinda hate the tank+carto setup that the pipe currently has and would like to change to something more like the Pro Tank. There's no way to fill the things more than 1/3 full and every fill results in juice getting everywhere due to the tank sliding up and down the carto.

Tell me these are gonna at least last more than the day or two I got out of the stock cartos.
