I am not sure if anyone can answer this for me but I figured if anyone might have the answer, it would be this group as you guys literally ROCK when it comes to information regarding the E-Power e-cig....
Ok, after having got my kudos and major props in for those who most assuredly deserve them both (includes everyone on this thread list & many others).... Here's my question...
Does anyone know if the 18650 battery will fit into the tube that comes with (and sold as a separate tube extra) for the 14650, can you tell me if the 18650 battery will fit into the same tube used for the 14650 battery of the E-Power?
I am asking this b/c I want to buy an E-Power 18650 to have as a backup in case my 14650 E-Power should go wonky or quit and I can have a backup at least until I can replace whatever doesn't work. My problem is that I cannot afford to buy an E-POwer 18650 straight out. It took me some 4+months to afford to purchase the 14650 E-Power and there were months when I literally went without things I needed (including a couple of medicine refills b/c the co-pays went toward the E-Power to keep me from back-sliding to the analogs - I know; my doctor was ...... when he learned that my health dropped a bit over the time I was going without the couple of refill medicines b/c it's not "safe for a person with no immune system or more appropriate an immune system that doesn't function as it should as the immune system should save our lives and not fight against the very cells that should be making the repairs..." yada, yada, yada... My doc was ...... but in the end, at least he understood my reason though he refused to even allow me the courtesy of the ends justifying the means defense)
I keep thinking if the tube fits, I have a spare tube b/c I thought since my original tube's spring refused to stay in the bottom of the tube, it was most likely the reason why I was having crappy results all of a sudden but in the end, it turned out that the spring could be pulled to lengthen it although with the new tube, I can't seem to get the tube's spring to come up off the bottom; hwr, it's acting much better except for the flashing battery color from the button when I press it. It flashes like it's low-charged when I know full well it's completely charged!
If the 18650 battery will fit into the 14650 tube, then all I would have to save for is the batteries since the charger I have will fit that battery so there is no need for another charger. If the tube fits and the charger works then I can get the batteries (1 for use, 2nd for alternating - found great battery site where the 14650s are the actual amp/volt/ohm or whatever they are said to they actually are. It's at
http:// www.electronicstix.com/. The batteries are amazing! I order the TrustFire brand as recommended by my friend, thanks in great part and appreciation to the introduction by MadJacks to the ower/co-owner/etc... from
Crystal Clear Vaping who recommended the batteries and the store! Thanks to both MJ & Andrew from CCV for bringing CCV to my attention in addition to the best batteries I have had the pleasure of using yet! So, if I can manage the batteries (they seem to be sold in pairs but they're extremely reasonably cost and the batteries I have had so far from Electronicstix have been top notch w/exception of 1 DOA, which was immediately replaced without question or issue - again, great company to do business with and I highly recommend them for your battery needs with regards to Mod-Batteries... If I have the batteries, which are not terribly expensive and a tube I can use (possibly) all I lack is the switch and hope the cartos (CCV 1.7s) I have come to enjoy using - or other optional cartos/attys/etc... that will work better with the 18650 power... I would be set with a spare put back in case I should need a new switch or new batteries etc...
I hope that makes sense. I have had one of the worst days today, actually it ranks up there with the worst weeks. My eyes are hurting like mad due to the inflammation of the corneas despite using the $%@#$ drops that make my eyes burn plus the additional ointment goop to moisturize my eyes as they are so dry it feels as if my eyelids have sandpaper attached on the underside and no amount of ointment or seprate drops will help with the pain. As if that were not enough, I have a chalazion (cyst of the eyelid) on my right eye that is hurting to the point where it's not just light in general that causes my eyes and hence in succession my head to pound, it is the knot itself that is getting larger meaning I have to put in a call to the ophthalmologist to surgically remove this one as well as a 2nd one that is smaller but still it's becoming irritating just by being where it is located.
It's just I am hoping it's more affordable piecemeal than buying at one time... Not sure if it's possible but it would be nice if it were. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate a heads up.
Warmest regards and best of wishes for this new year,
Paisley
