Does anyone have any experience with the mod listed above? Specifically if it still has the issue with the button problem. I am looking into getting a friend a unit along these lines. Any suggestions along that price tag for a kit is welcome as well. The budget we have is around 60 for a complete kit using dual coil cartos under the 510 setup.

I found a complete kit at (myvaporstore) for 46 Dollars. Looks good for a complete kit. I have not bought from this company but it should be good. Hope this helps.

This 18650 is different from the one I have, but mine maybe a old model. My switch is the same diameter as the battery holder. This one does look very nice, but I don't know if the switch is replaceable.

I bought a kit for a really good price. I have had the button stick twice on it. Easy to do if you don't pay attention, when pressing the button you need to be careful and not slide it in any direction or it will stick and you will have to find the direction to slide it to get it unstuck. Mine sticks when I slightly push up with my thumb while pushing in. Now that I know I try to make sure that i don't slide my thumb up the button.

I just got my e-power 5V (2X 18650's) a week ago, having the same button sticking problems as everyone else. I payed about 70-80 at liberty with DCT tank + charger and 4 batts. I'm really impressed by this except for the button. If the minor sticking stays a minor problem I would recommend this, but time will tell. Only happens maybe once a day now after getting used to how the button plays.

I got my kit from MFS *myfreedomsmokes* good price 54$ i think for a complete kit + 2 batts some crummy huge xxl cartos and a cheapo charger * charges great 4.21v exactly *

Over all for the price and the lengeth of time i got out of there *2800mah* batts * around 12 hours with a 1.5 ohm Dual coal atty * I will give this mod a 9 out of 10.

With a Tube tank and 1.5ohm dcc atty this baby will crank out some very warm flavorfull vape.. Great throat hits great flavors from my diy selection its great i loved it ended up buying 4 batts for it! :D Still have it actully :D lol

Battery time was GREAT! i was really honestly suprised i got 12 hours with a dcc 1.5 ohm atty and im no light vapor eather i vape at least 5-10 ml a day take 3-5 hits put it down for 5-10 mins pick it back up all day long unless im in some extreemly heavy cod match it really dosnt get put down for very long.

Charging time on them is a little long usually about 6 hours with this charger havnt checked time on any other charge yet * i should do that ... * but as i mentioned above it does charge right to 4.21 every time :D A+ im my book.

Flat top 18650 protected fit nicely in the charger as well as the e-cig no rattling .. Button top will work in this mod as well i have tested 1 model of batt Trustfire 2500 mah 18650 protected *GRAY* cpl bucks on sleaz bay .. Those perticular ones and i suspect all button tops of this size fit VERY snugg in the charger and can slip off the + very easly so its a pain to charge those in that charger for that i have a tenergy charger..

Fails... The end cap is a for lack of a better phrase.. POS .. its just small! Why do they do this to us.. make the threads so damn small its like fiddling with a needle and thread... ugh.! First time i swapped batterys i fiddled with that end cap trying to get it thread on so much that i must have done something to short it out cuz when i finally got it put together it wouldnt fire.. so i hada take it all out and do it again.! BLAH

So once you get past that hurdle and dont fiddle with it ne more it should blink 3 times letting you know you made the right connection and everythings a goo !

the button is good i wont say great.. it has issues its a button.. buttons have issues.. at a certian angle / the way you hold the ecig and which finger presses the button.. it will STICK! ooo weee and it will get hot when it gets stuck and you dont notice it.! I dont rember the combo but im sure you will notice it one day.. and learn never to press the button like that again.

Other then that single issue.. it has the 5 click on / off but the light will not blink telling you its on or off.. its just off..

9/10 Its a tube mod w/ a small end cap threads that can be a pain to deal with so if you got hand issues i wouldnt go with this mod.. the button does stick if you press it @ the wrong degree.. not a good thing.. but no more shorted switches to replace.. ITs a 1 peice design tube and switch are now married just put in the battery.

Hope that helps :D

Thanks for the response. I found some kits at Hoosier Supply for $43.89 but they are out of stock at the moment. Have you used one of these? How is the performance?
Hoosier Supply is where where I got mine. It has worked well for over 6 months, with the 18650 battery it lasts a long time between charges than any of my other mods.

One thing I might add is with the 18650 and 14650 models I lubed the treads with a very little Valvoline to make it screw on and off better, and only did this when it was new.

Got mine from Liberty Flights.

Overall, very happy with it.

Sticky button issue still there (this is the blue led / plastic button / single piece setup). But I haven't had much of a problem with it. It doesn't happen too often (yet?), and pushing the button again "unsticks" it.

Other than that, great performance and huge battery life. Works great with SmokTech dual coil XXL eGo cartos. My batteries are 2800mAh, but I've seen ones as high as 4000mAh. That's at least 3-4 times as much as a good, fully charged PCC kit will give you. In one battery. Most kits come with two.

The slimmer switch / button area conforms nicely to your index finger when holding it. Has a nice weight to it, feels sturdy (apart from the button).
