I just put a ticket in & told them I wanted a replacement switch...Hopefully they don't give me trouble with the replacement~ Thanks Caged...I didn't realize that you had the same issues...good to know~

Your post might be messed up as well. My problem wasn't with having to loosen up the carto to get it to work, it was with the center pin of the carto not reaching the post on the connector and binding cartos. My switch is so bad now that many cartos either won't screw in at all or fall off if they get knocked.

I wouldn't think the switch would affect the battery's center post falling inside the battery. Maybe I just don't know how it's made though.

It's not the battery. The switch goes in between the battery and the carto/atty and it contains the post (it's a mod type of unit, not an ego). There are two things that can go wrong -- the center post could be misaligned, but the connection threads on the unit are really cheap and strip easily. They are also cheaply cut.

check the spring. I had an issue where the spring, when it was compressed by the battery, was only making contact with the shrinkwrap of the battery.. if you look at the negative end of the battery you'll notice the shrinkwrap extends over the sides.. my spring was only touching this. What I did was pull the spring out and kind of bend the end of it every so slightly so it touched the end of the battery and not just the shrink wrap.

Are these issues more likely in the 14650 models do you think?

I ask because I have the 18650 version and have had little to no problem with it at all. I think I've had the unit for nearly a month now and it's become my main all day P.V. Problems I've had so far: paint work is terrible, chips off just by looking at it, I've since taken all mine off and don't mind the slightly bronze metal colour I'm left with. A G4 clearo simply wouldn't work at all on it. This wasn't really a big deal however as I've found the G4 pretty useless on most devices...

I've found it to be pretty consistent with the 18650, batteries last me a good two days and I really only notice any drop off in vapour within 30mins of a battery going flat. I use a array tank with CE2 XL insides and that's it. Real shame some of you are having issues like you are, I really am impressed with my £40 battery mod personally. Sure it's a bit cheap and you know build quality pales next to a silver bullet or provari but then they are far cheaper to buy, yet performance is impressive all the same.

Interesting...I didn't think to check the spring...Thanks:)

Checked...& yup, thats what it was...Thanks for being so helpful guys...Thats why I love this place:)

I just wish I had read your posts more carefully so I wouldn't have aimed you toward asking for a new switch (something I'm caught up on right now as mine is dying). Had the issue with the spring too. The issue with charging the batteries is getting worse as well. Definitely would not buy again, but it might serve as a backup.
