Mine does it occasionally. All I do is unscrew the carto from the battery and it seems to reset the switch. I think it comes from juice leaking down into the top of the switch. Try unscrewing the carto/ atty and grab it by the battery end. Shake it down like you would old style fever thermometer. Do it toward a clean paper towel and you will be surprised at what comes out the top. Works better if you vape it for a few minutes and get it nice and warm.

Good luck, my ego (I know, not exactly the same as an e-power lol) did the same thing. Scared me when I had to unscrew the carto to get the battery to quit every time I pressed the button! Kept doing it off an on for a day (I cleaned it all very well with no luck) until it stopped working at all and wouldn't charge. I had just used a brand new dual coil cartomizer and someone wondered if I got a bad one that shorted the battery. Hopefully yours just needs cleaned.

Most likely was from running the DC Carto and overheating the units mosfet connection, the whole trick to using LR stuff on an Ego type Batt is giving it a rest in between vapes and not overheating the mosfet connection which gets fried if you get it to hot. Try this and letting the Batt cool down a bit after a couple of vapes, also makes sense to have two units going at the same time and rotating in between them with vapes then neither will get to hot. Just my 2c hope it helps ya.

Thats really because LR cartomizers like dual coils are not really supposed to be used on an eGo. You can use them, but your leaving yourself very little room for error, so be careful. Ive seen quite a few people fry their eGo batteries using Dual coils or LR cartos.

Thanks, maybe I will see what I can find along the lines of larger single horizontal coil from the same company that I seem to like (Kanger) to be safe. The regular horizontal single coil cartomizers I also use are great, but I like the larger size (taller, not fatter).

VapingRulz,
I posted this in the other thread but I dont know if you saw it. Contact Andrew from CCV right away. It sounds like you got unlucky and got a bad switch. He will prob be able to send you a replacement, but dont wait or he might not if its been awhile since your order

I forgot that I posted here so I'm just checking back now. I ordered a new switch from another vendor because I also needed adaptors, which CCV doesn't carry. The new switch didn't help - the same thing is happening. I'm beginning to think that it must be the spring. Maybe it's too sensitive? Is that possible?

I just posted the same thing on a new thread (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...60-just-arrived-but-cant-use.html#post4587758 - I should have searched first). Just got the E-Power in and same thing - can't turn it off. I already called and am getting a new switch, but now I'm worried it's something else. Did you ever figure this out?

I Just noticed something on my E-power that might be worth mentioning,With my kit I received the 510-510 extender and use it,Today I tried it without the extender and it felt like it was hitting harder so I checked the resistance on my DMM and it had a very high resistance from the positive to the ground It was in the mega scale before it even picked up the resistance. This could be the cause for some switch problems if the insulator in the extender is bad enough it will cause a dead short and could blow the electronics on the switch.

I'm still a newb - what's a 510-510 extender?
