E-Sold / Gel from CES

I picked up some E-Solid, or E-Gel at the feellife booth at CES in Las Vegas. feellife is the Chinese company that manufactures E-Solid. This company also manufactures processed foods.

The sample they gave me is the Cherry flavor 20ml bottle. They are selling this product in a squeeze bottle and glass bottle.

Active Ingredients
Food Flavor 10%
Firming Agent 1%
Propulene glycol 40%
Glycerol 30%
Stabilizer 1%
Deionized Water 15%
Excipient 3%
Food Color .0001%

The bottle does not say if it has any nicoteen in it so I am going to assume it does not. There is a "People unfit for use: juveniles, pregnant woman" and "KEEP OUT of reach of children" notes on the bottle.

PROS
  1. Produces a lot of smoke
  2. Lasts about 10% - 30% longer than juice
  3. Using GEL feels safer than using Liquid (this would be important for new e-vapor users
  4. No head ache. I tend to get head aches when using a lot of liquid. I didn't experience that with the gel.

CONS
  1. Turns to liquid: You can blow through one bottle fine without it turning. If you purchase more than one bottle you need to keep the ones you are not using in the refrigerator so that it does not become liquid.
  2. Flavor was lacking in the Cherry. I did try the "China" flavor at their booth and that did have a strong flavor. Chould just be the Cherry flavor.

Overall I love the product. They need to increase the flavor (at least in Cherry) and you cant tote around a bunch of flavors for a long period of time. They need to be refrigerated if left out for more than 4 days.

Hope you enjoyed the review. Let me know if you have any questions.

Sorry this is in the New Users forum. I was away in Afghanistan for a year and the forum got updated and my account erased. Had to create a new one.

It looks interesting but it will likely need to mature. I like that they made an attempt to disclose their ingredients but some of those were a little too general to actually count. Again, I'm sure it will get better. I know I want to know what goes into all this stuff. I'm not switching just to get hosed again, if you know what I mean.

I'm excited to see some innovation out there, so thanks for posting that!

from what i've heard, the vaportalk store will be carrying gel within the next couple months.

Vapor Gel E Liquid Coming Soon - Vapor Talk E Cig Forum

That is correct. The manufacturer is waiting on the tube that the gel will ship in. The tube arrives Jan 23 from the supplier to the manufacturer. The manufacturer only needs 1 day to fill the tubes with the gel and will begin shipping on the 24th. They are shipping from China so should arrive early to mid February. When VaporTalk will begin selling the product I do not know.
