You know what pisses me off about this ****? Is the FDA will have a field day with it. NOW e-cigs claim sexual health benefits. Something the FDA doesn't screw around with.

Somebody really needs to shut these a**holes down before the PV is totally destroyed. Not like that hasn't already happened.

And if your d**k falls off for using this, you only have yourself to blame.

These claims have got to STOP, and stop now!

I'm really seriously planing to. As a physician, I feel obliged to do so. This is truly criminal and IS going to go badly against all vaping.

First of all ...... is a prescription drug and is very dangerous if not used properly. Combined with other medications it can lead to heart attacks.

There is no assurance that the substance being sold on this website is really ....... If it is, then it is being sold for use in what is known as off label use. Off label use is legal for physicians to prescribe, but I don't think it is for anybody else.

All drugs must go through FDA's approval process, including new formulations or delivery methods of previously approved drugs. This is even the FDA's stance against vaping a tested drug, nicotine.

The website selling this stuff is at best scamming people. Worse, they are going to kill some people.


I hope I'm not going to make things worse for us vaporers by contacting the FDA, but at least it will a vaporer who actually brings it to light. We want to continue vaping, but want it done in a responsible manner.

I think it'll be a positive result. Vaporers being responsible health consience individuals actually WORKING with the FDA to rid of irresponsible claims of these things.

The things that worries me is if they really DO have some sexual drug (......) in the mixture, what type of effect will it have being absorbed in the lungs? Especially when combined with Nicotine. It's one thing to take a medicine orally, but it could have really adverse effects taken in the lungs. Some things are just not meant to be vaped.

Then the FDA has their smoking gun and we can kiss the e-cigs goodbye forever.

Well I don't know that it will do any good but I got on their website tonight and clicked on their "Live chat" button..figured I would chat them up and see what they had to say. The other person seemed kinda concerned but we'll see what happens.

Damn straight. Just by us policing ourselves should show the FDA and all the naysayers that we mean to stay. Vaping vitamins MIGHT eventually become a good way to get your vitamins. But right now, let's stick to the nicotine.

See sites selling e-ciallis or e-vitamins? Boycott it, and send an e-mail explaining WHY you will not be buying from them. Even the dumbest tool on earth can see "Oh, we're getting all these angry e-mails, and we're not making any money at all. Maybe we shouldn't sell this"

I highly doubt there's actually ...... in there. It's probably like the stuff in liquids or pills they sell at convenience stores that claim to do the same thing that ...... does. Either way, this is stupid and it will cause problems if the media gets wind of it and they haven't stopped selling it.

If they don't have ...... in it, then their description is very misleading. It implies it does have it in there, even shows the chemical diagram of it.

Without wanting to be too censorious, I'm tempted to remove any discussion of e-...... from ECF.

I've been aware of the product for some time, and I'm very concerned about it's further negative impact on e-smoking in general. It does somewhat underline the FDA's argument that e-cigs are a drug delivery system.

For now I'm going to move this to the general discussion forum. Let me know what your thoughts are on how to proceed.

I wouldn't worry about it too much though. Even if there were ...... in there, it would have to be a very, very small amount, and there's no evidence that it can be delivered in a vapor form as far as I'm aware. If there were a considerable amount, people would be having serious adverse effects, especially if they used it while drinking alcohol. Personally, I think the place is just scamming people. Removing it from the site I think will only cause the next noob to find it and repost it. This way, there's a thread to tell you NOT to buy that crap or support that company. I would limit it to one thread though.

and SJ, i think that's a tough call. on one hand, at least it is being discussed and the "forum" is determining it is a bad idea, so there is at least a vocal opinion that they don't agree with it.

however, the discussion alone could be misconstrued and taken out of context by the media and used against us...

so, honestly, i don't know that there IS a right move.

I think you might be right. There is such a negative perception already and how many times have we heard about the questionable standards of chinese manufacturing as an excuse for an attack on e-cigs? This almost proves that point. I for one will never ever do business with that company again.

Better yet, report them. If we work w/ the FDA in a responsible manner, we can hope for them to see that most of us are responsible people who aren't trying to get around the laws of our country, but just trying to protect the freedoms we have.
