Telescopic mod have always little issues in conductivy, by it's structure. Voltage drop depends also the size of the battery you are using. Bigger the area between the tubes, which is not connected each other by threads - leads movement between the tubes when using the device. You get the feeling, that sometimes device is firing better and sometimes not as good. People have been using noalox on those threads, and had much better results when testing the voltage drops on EA. Noalox itself is not very well conductive, but it decreases the movement between tubes and makes the structure more solid and that way conductive -> more steady firing. I don't have EA, but I noticed this also in my SturmMod which have very fine threads. With 14500 battery it was unstable, but with 14650 it was much better. Noalox, and of course keeping contacts always clean helped significantly.

I've seen people who claim very low voltage drop on the EA and I've seen people claim its one of the worst.

Truth be told ... its going to depend on your battery, atomizer, and coil resistance.

Most mechanical mods have a very low voltage drop with no load these days ... even the Chinese mods. Once you start measuring under load voltage the factors above are the things that matter most.

is it that feeling when your firing, and all of sudden it stops and u have to press the button again? yeah i get that alot when i use the kick, but when im not using a kick it's fantastic... by the way i lost my spring and locking mechanism when i was drunk, everyone telling me to go to autozone or home depot, but im not a handyman at all... =(

Been looking at them over at vapedudes and just noticed that they say "the color for the moment is "mist"" Hmmm.. I don't know that mist was a color and now I'm concerned that if I get it, it won't match the silver SS of my rbas. Does anyone have any info on this?
Mist is the only finish they make and what we all have...it's just a brushed stainless steel.

I'm thinking about stopping by Vaporescence tomorrow and checking one of these out. I have a Natural, ChiChi, and K100, with a slew of clearos, RBA's, and carto tanks to top them with. My current favs though are the AGA-T+ and Terminator-C. Anyone out there with experience with these, is it REALLY worth the extra expense?

(In other words, someone PLEASE talk me out of spending $200 on this lol)

I can use the aw imr batts that I use in my Provari? I need to get some 18350s and want to make sure before ordering. Also.. do I need to get one of those 2 cent for safety things? If so, is there one that is preferred? I'll be using it with ss mesh rbas.

Yes you can use IMR's. It's recommended you go with something that can handle more current, such as the MNKE, if you want to run SLR. But even then, I've used AW and Pansonic IMRs with no problems. The 2 cent fuse is always a good idea for added safety, but IMR batteries are pretty safe as is. You want to make sure you have a multimeter at the very least to check for shorts before you fire it though, or at least a regulated mod that has an ohm checker.

I'm sure there are people in this thread who will violently disagree with me, but the EA is just not a $200 mod. Don't get me wrong; it's a nice piece of equipment, and a step up from Chinese $50 mods. But at today's exchange rates it's very overpriced, and you can get much better for that amount of money.

I agonized over this decision for a long time. I really thought the Natural had a nice feel and look. But I know myself and I knew I wouldn't be satisfied unless I got what I really wanted. I knew if I got the natural, I'd end up going back and getting the EA before long anyway so I figured I saved myself $60 (I live in NC and would have had to pay tax at madvapes)

Thing is all I have are Chinese mods, and would like something with a bit more quality. But I'm 100% for function over form. My ChiChi and Natural have been modded with solid brass negative posts and contacts sanded, using MNKE 18650's and AW IMR 18650/18350's, and different SLR rebuildables. I want a nice mod, but $200 still just seems like quite a bit of money for something so simple. I don't know, I'm an impulse buyer and am afraid that I'm going to spend $200 on something because it just has thicker side walls and nicer threads, ya know?

I think it's more than that. This thing is just machined well out of stainless steel and you can feel it when you hold it. The 510 connection is wonderful and has an adjustable center post. I really can't do it justice with words, and it looks better than in pics, you just need to own one to know what I'm talking about. Let me sell you mine so you can know...haha.

Lol doesn't really help the whole "it's worth it" argument when you want to sell it though :p

I'll stop by Vaporescence tomorrow and check it out, I need some more cartos anyway. Maybe they can suck some more money out of me. Unless you want to trade it for a Vamo and eVic ;)

I've been thinking of modding the Natural and ChiChi with a sliding center pin as well. I'm thinking it would be just as simple as an appropriately sized nylon bushing with a brass rod and some lube. I've got an arbor press that would do the trick if my local Ace has what I need.
