Either get a riva / ego / hello 016 with 510 cartomizers, or a KR808 kit with cartomizers if you want something cigarette sized, i'd advise against getting LR 510 cartomizers as you have to constantly keep topping them up or they die and burn out a piece of cake.

If you're feeling adventurous you could use a LR atomizer with a drip-tip on a 510 mod of some sort like mentioned above, just don't buy a 510 starter kit if you're buying something cigarette sized, the battery life is awful, go for the 808.

I don't know what your price range is but, if I were buying right now I would go for the little sister. The batteries are dirt cheap, it's small and has variable voltage, just dial it up or down till you find what you like. Some flavors do better at differnet volts, so you don't have to worry about having a seperate model for your favorite flavors. Personally I have found the easiest set up no fuss with a great hit is a 510 at five volts with a cartomizer and a drip tip. No messing around filling up carts or anything like that. When the flavor and hit start to get low just bust out a bottle and drip about 15 drops in wait a second and your good to go for a good long time. Cartomizers are cheap too.

Well for someone deathly afraid of technology, I would go for as simple as possible. If this is the same person that goes through tv remotes by the dozen because they break buttons when it won't work I'd do the V4L 808. It might cost more in the long run, but once they tire of the standard flavors they can always fill the cart with different juices. I don't have that device but i've read enough to feel knowledgeable about it.

Reasons I say that from what I've read and someone please correct me if I'm wrong. You can use the condom fill method which is extremely easy. The pre-filled carts aren't that terrible in taste and last. The battery life will avoid constant recharging/changing like a 510 would. It's only two pieces and has a nice PCC for on the go.

I'll second that. I have the KR8 and I love it. I'm not a technophobe, but I knew that if it was too much of a hassle to use I wouldn't stick with it. I've been vaping for 4 weeks now with no problems.

Well, if this person wants something somewhat cig-like, I'd go with the Kr808 over 510 with cartos, simply because the Kr8 gets much better battery life.

If they do eventually get sick of buying 5-packs and want to refill, the condom method, as others have mentioned, is very easy. But I've also had great luck just dripping right through the battery hole, which is even easier and, for me, less messy.

ElectroNicStix has a kit for 35 bucks. I got mine from them and they're pretty awesome.

If they're open to something less cig-like, then an eGo with mega cartos is probably a pretty good place to start, but it'll be more expensive, and even more so if they don't want to refill.
