"Eastmall" branded 901 atomizers

I just received my second order from Eastmall of bulk atomizers for my 901 addiction (red and blue metallic). I was surprised to find that this batch of atomizers has the word "Eastmall" printed in white script on them.

My previous order was sleek and unmarked, giving a nice clean look. I'm not sure if I like this change, and while I'm not upset about it, I doubt I would have purchased these if I had known about the "branding" -- images on the website still show them as being clean and unmarked...

(the auto batteries I ordered are normal and unbranded.)

sorry that you did not like the branding so much,

we had a batch of branded EM ones done to test the market,
and we are putting a few in every now and then with peeps orders
to guage the response,

I wish it had been just a few...unfortunately, I now have 20 of them!

I will add that the branding is done very professionally and looks nice, just not what I had expected.

I got them too on the black and red 901 atty's I ordered. I wasn't expecting that..I like it those. The problem is without my glasses on, I think I have scratched my atty! The silver didn't have anything on them.

Yes I saw the East Mall branding on the attys ,

I have to say I like it also,

I am proud of East Mall, and I like the branding

it is subtle enough to not be crass,

but enough to be identifiable,

I like it, but that is my opinion.......

No offense dikerry, but as a representative of the company, and having read many of your posts here, I don't find your position surprising...you have been a consistent cheerleader for Eastmall for a long time.

I don't like having my products branded, especially when the same products I purchased previously were not--and no warning was given to me about this change.

Your first response was that Eastmall was just adding a few to orders to test response, but in my case that is a lie. Now every single new 901 atomizer from my last order has the word “Eastmall” on them…that’s 20 new atomizers. Not what I ordered…

I am glad they have a representative who is active on their forums, but I wish you would turn the cheerleading down a bit. Your comments cross over from professional representative to regular forum contributor…sounding like a paid endorsement from Eastmall….which makes it difficult to interpret your posts—are you a customer or are you an employee? It’s fine to be both, but a clear distinction in your posts in this forum would be helpful.

As far as branding goes, a single non-descriptive word (Eastmall) in white script around the circumference of a tight radius is not going to add much to product recognition…especially on a product that is generic and carried by so many different retailers. Even with the “brand” this product doesn’t differentiate itself from all the other 901’s available--hell, if you want to have better brand recognition, perhaps having custom colours that no other company has would be a better first step.
