Here's a very easy and lightweight mod I made a while ago. It's for any standard atty and makes your device look exactly like a real cigarette. Ideal for using out in public places, or whenever you just want to remind yourself of what having an analogue between your fingers is like. This mod can be used with your regular favourite e cig - or with a custom battery box. It's simple, discrete and comfortable to hold.

All it takes to make is three plastic filters from your preferred atomisers, superglue and a smal dab of grey modelling clay for the 'ash'.

1. Remove the 'cap' end (with the small hole) from one filter and drill a hole half way along the tube using a drill bit more or less the same diameter as the tube itself. This should separate the tube into the two halves and create the curve in the plastic needed to form the T joint.

2. On the second filter, use the same drill bit to create a hole in one side of the plastic about a third of the way along from the open end.

3. Use the discarded half of the first tube as the short inside joining sleeve for the other two tubes. To do this you need to cut away a millimetre or so along its length (so it can be squeezed to fit into the two other tubes)

4. Glue one half this sleeve into the open end of the second filter. Then glue the remaining half into the open end of the third filter and .... them together tightly.

5. Glue the curved end of the first filter onto the hole created in the second one to create an airtight T joint.

6. Glue an 'ash' looking bit of modelling clay onto the end furthest from the T joint and paint that half of the tube white (or any colour you please).

Insert your atty into the T joint and you now have a small, lightweight, ciggy-style mouthpiece to use. This is for dripping only - although I'm sure it would be possible to use the empty space in the plastic tube as a juice tank... which would make it even more appealing. :)

Different smokes for different folks, Gummy :) I loved smoking cigarettes - and still would be now if I hadn't started noticing the health effects (and I may well return to it in a few years time, once my body has had a chance to recover). So, for me, creating a perfect vaping equivalent which feels as close as possible to the real thing helps me with walking away from a habit that was also a joy.

Besides, my horizontal ciggy-style mouthpiece here is just an alternative to the standard vertical one seen on all mods and boxes - and a more natural and comfortable alternative, in my opinion.

poland, and the brassy lands of google
Nice work slopes (again). Something gets me about the rigid 2 piece "T" shape though, I like the cig-wires-box approach better as you can flex and wave it around naturally, this one seems too stiff and unnatural. That's just me though. Hows the cig-wires-lighter version coming along?
