My wife and had just finished picking up some supplies at the Bulk Barn this morning, and were about to check out when I spotted some Lorann flavors for sale. $2 for 1 dram (3.7 ml). My only concern was whether they were oil based, I don't have enough DIY experience but I remembered reading a ECF post which advised not to use Lorann oil based flavors. (BTW please advise if this is true). Anyway, the ingredients were alcohol, PG and artificial flavors and no oils (that is unless the artificial flavors are oil based) so I purchased one each of the flavors, watermellon, bubblegum and grape. I would appreciate any advice you can give on the flavors before my wife start using them and thanks in advance.
Now for the story on the 3 easy converts. The Bulk Barn was empty (early morning) so one of the cashiers was telling us that she uses Lorann flavors all the time for cooking and advised us that they were extremely strong and not to use too much. I informed her that they were to be used for ecigs and she said she had never heard of such a thing. 2 of the cashiers were smokers and the other one has been trying to get her mother off the cigs for years. Well to cut a long story short, (if that's possible) we spent at least 15 minutes explaining all about ecigs and they requested the name of my Ontario supplier. My wife even went outside with 2 of them and gave a demonstration with her ego and 510 carto. They all loved the idea and were extremely interested. I imagine that all of the regular posters on this forum have also had similar experiences. It's really frustrating when I think about all the smokers out there who could really benefit from ecigs, and i'ts too bad we can't get the message out there to more smokers.
