Been vaping for a week or so, and have some questions please. First, im aware that atomizers wear out or burn out and need to be replaced? Well how long do they last and how do you know they are going bad? Second, im using clearomizers right now. How do I clean them out and get all the old juice out for a different type of juice? Third, what is a "dry burn" and why do you do it? Forth, is it true vaping dehydrated you fast? If so, why is that? Thanks

Atomizers usually last a week or two depending on the eliquid you are using. Eliquid that is sweeter and/or darker usually "gunks" up your coils faster. High VG eliquid also can do the same as VG is sweeter than PG.

Second, im using clearomizers right now. How do I clean them out and get all the old juice out for a different type of juice?
How to Clean & Dry Burn Kanger EVOD & MT3's

Third, what is a "dry burn" and why do you do it?
See video above. You dry burn an atomizer to burn off the "gunk" on your coils, give you better performance and prolong their life.

Forth, is it true vaping dehydrated you fast? If so, why is that? Thanks
Yes, vaping is very dehydrating. Drink lots of water. Here are some threads on this subject:

1. Why does Vaping cause Dehydration (and analogs don't)?
2. Why does vaping dehydrate me so bad

I used T3's for quite a while, and still have a couple, though I use come complicated crap lately...
You can tell when an atomizer needs replacing (or cleaning at least) when the quality and quantity of vapor begins to degrade.
You'll get a "feel for it" - but basically it's "weaker" when it's getting too gunked up to work properly.
They will occasionally literally burn out - and just stop working - then you toss it, or learn to open them up and rebuild (that's fiddling with the tiny wires and wick inside the "coil" or "head". Not necessary, but possible.

I used to rotate a BUNCH of clearomizers (almost all Kanger) - and I'd take the coil heads out every few tanks, run them under hot water, blow through them a little, then set it aside to dry - for a couple DAYS - cuz I had extras in rotation, and wet wick doesn't vape well AT ALL.

This process kept my coils working for weeks - hard to gauge exactly due to having many in rotation - but a pretty long time!

SOme people do a similar process, but take cleaning to another level - soaking in Vodka works to get more gunk off...

Good luck, and good vaping!!!

As already stated, the darker and sweeter juices tend to gum up on the coils. I rinse mine with hot water and blot it with a vapor towel, then attach the coil with out the tank to a battery and pressthe fire button for a few seconds at a time. This burns off the gunk after a minute or two. I then rinse again and let it air dry. As far as hydration goes, drink plenty of water

Hi, I'm new to this forum too, never lurked just found it by happy accident. I recently found a great new clearomizer it's called a GS-H2 (I think that correct) I love this clearo. This little jewel has great vapor production, replaceable coil, and super easy to clean. It does unfortunatly not have a drip tip that can be changed out, the body is one piece. I have CE4s' that are still working great after 4 months and I take good care to clean them about every 2-3 tankfuls. My system for cleaning any tank is to rinse with super hot tap water,(I take the coil stem off and flush the coil under the hot water too, then I blow dry the coil and dry burn till my coil glows its entire length. put it back togeather and fill. I think the coil I have in mine is a 1.8 ohm but higher ohm coils can be purchased. The cost is anywhere from 1-4 dollars depending on where you buy them and they come in seven colors. The cleaning process above is not usable for the CE4's but I have used hydrgen peroxide on these and rinsed the let them sit for 1-2 days to dry. Hope this helps. Keep on vaping on :)

Yes, I like the GS-H2 also. Great inexpensive little tank. I give them to people who want to try vaping. Also I use them when I don't have time to rebuild or whatever. Don't use vodka to clean them or they will cloud up, oops, hehe.
