If this is blatantly obvious, cut me some slack! I've only been at this 2 months now lol.
If you're like me, you've been filling your syringe by filling your bottle cap then drawing the liquid up into it (a painfully slow process). With the Nano's now out, and thinking about how they are filled, I tried filling my syringe the same way:
- put the needle tip on the bottom of the syringe
- take the plunger OUT of the syringe
- fill the syringe by dripping the juice out of the bottle down the plunger opening
- quickly place the plunger back into the syringe tube just enough to make a seal (this will cause a little leaking out of the needle, so I started just holding some TP on the needle)
- turn the syringe upside down and let all the juice run to the bottom
- purge the excess air in the tube
- BOOM! There goes the dynamite!
This worked great! Took half the usual time to fill my CE3's! There was a bit of leaking when putting the plunger back in, but only a couple of drops. I'm guessing there was less waste than what's usually left in the bottom and threads of the cap.
Maybe I'm just slow, then again maybe this will help some of you out there save some refill time!

versailles mo.
that is what i did in the beginning on my first ce3s......now i have wide mouth bottles and use a plastic 14 gage needle and draw my juice in to a 10 mil syringe....then put the small needle back on the syringe........but on the nanos you could leave the 14 gage needle on the syringe.

i use a 10 mil syringe with the plunger out to measure my flavors for diy mixing......i have some luer lock solid stoppers that i put in to the syringe to keep it from leaking.

the 10 or 30 mil syringes are perfect for measuring just about any liquid.

What hath God wrought?!

Well, thankyou for that excellent suggestion and thankyou for making me feel like an idiot for not seeing this was the easiest way to go about it.

Really, I feel like a complete idiot.

I'll join ya in the idiot room. Going to try this next time I refill.

Heck it will also be good for mixing it up a bit in the needle.. half of this and half of that. Geeesh wish I woudl have thought of this earlier.

Thanks Hops.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I've been using 5ml or 10ml syringes to "bulk fill" my CE3s. I use a 14ga needle to pull the liquid in, then switch to a 20ga to fill the CE3s. Fast an efficient, at least for me. The plungers don't come out of my large syringes, 5ml, 10ml and 20ml, but do come out of the ones that come with the CE3s, but they're only 2.5ml so I can only fill two CE3s at a time.

I fill 7 at a time, once per week, but use a different flavor in each one so quick changeover is key for me...
