eBay UK to ban electronic cigarettes

eBay UK have announced today that the sale of electronic cigarettes is to be banned on the site from the 30th June. The ban also includes componant parts, including cartridges, atomisers, liquid refills, vaporisers, batteries and shells.

When ebay kicked e-cigarettes of ebay US, the reason give was "Drug or drug paraphernalia". It really gets to me how they make their own laws ahead of the FDA even banning them here. They are very pretentious and there is no one to talk to. I'm sorry to hear this is going to happen to you guys selling e-cigarettes on ebay in the UK.

What eBay does often has nothing to do with the local law. It is likely their attorneys who foresee this as a future liability. They are simply being cautious.
