ec blends- how do i customize my own e-liquid

I'm new to vaping and have only tried a few e liquids. I got all the following in 12mg nicotine strength.
NITE LITE VAPOR -VAPEPORT liked the smoothness and vapor production
EVO TIMBER- smooth and good vapor
EVO TANGERINE SWIRL- smooth but lacked flavor
EVO CANTALOPIA- liked flavor but was harsh on my throat and didn't produce good vapor.


I would like to make a custom creation from ec blends but i'm not sure how to go about it. I'm not sure what pg/vg ratio to use, if I should use extra or double flavoring, what the difference is between a menthol or cool hit, and whether I should add sweetener.

I'm not sure whether i should just get a lower nicotine strength or none at all. Is vaping still enjoyable without the nicotine?

I would like to achieve the smoothness of the EVO TANGERINE SWIRL OR TIMBER, vapor production of the NITE LITE VAPEPORT, and something stronger in flavor than EVO CANTALOPIA.

Also i've noticed i've gotten a tickle in the back of my throat cough similar to what i get from allergies and was wondering if pg/vg ratio or nicotine strength can cause that.

I would appreciate any tips on creating your own custom blends, or any flavors from ec blend that anyone can suggest. Thank you.
