ECF android app

Is anyone else using the app for the forums? So far, it keeps locking up and freezing on me. Also it's not very friendly when trying to navigate the forums.

That being said, it's pretty cool there's an app at all.

I'm curious to know what other user's experiences are.

Get Tapatalk, the ECF app isn't very good imo.

Tapatalk is the app to get. It's better than nothing, but does have it's issues and limitations. I spend more time on the forum via Tapatalk than on my home computer.

Moved to Site Feedback and Help

The Android app is rather ancient and won't be updated. We're in the process of migrating the forums to XenForo. Once the new software is in place, it will have a responsive design that makes using the browsers on mobile devices much nicer without having to install a third party application.

I personally like Tapatalk for just reading my favorite threads or looking at the classifieds but just using the browser and going to ecf website is easier for me if I am using my phone. Nothing beats using a laptop in my recliner though.

That is wonderful news about XenForo. I had never heard of it. Always learning something new on ecf.
