Wow… where has the time gone? To me, it seems like just a couple of months ago SmokeyJoe was announcing our second anniversary.

Over the last year we’ve seen a lot of changes around here. We’ve gone through a major forum software upgrade, and we aren’t done yet. We’ve seen the legal case with the FDA go into Appeals Court… and sit there for what seems like forever. We’ve added some international language forums for our non-English speaking members. We’ve had new staff members join us, and some leave. We’ve seen our membership rise to almost 50 thousand members. For me, I’m nearing my one year anniversary as Forum Manager, and it’s been a wild ride.

We’ve also seen a lot of innovation in the e-cig industry, from the wildly popular eGo-like models to some really amazing variable voltage units, and it looks like there is even more interesting things to come. I wonder what the next year will bring.

What are your big highlights for the year?

The staff here at the ECF would like to give our sincere thanks to our members, because it’s you that makes this place such a great community to be part of.

Happy Holidays,
The ECF Forum Staff

when i joined i just assumed ecf had been around for years already. oh wait, that's roly i'm thinking of ...

personal highlights:
jan 10 - started vaping
jan 10 - last cigarette
jan 15 - joined ecf
march - became an ecf moderator
june - last use of nicotine
august - found my #1 all day/everday juice
october - attended my first meet&greet

though i did switch completely to vaping on day 1, it was one of the SE kits, and i doubt i would have continued or had any success without finding ecf. i thank smokey joe and rolygate (and ok, angus too) for this forum, all the other admins/moderators, and the generous sharing of knowledge and experience from the members that i found here. i hope i've given back as much as i've received.

happy birthday ecf

ECF has helped me stopping smoking but has really improved my ability to spend money!!!

I also truly enjoy my friends I have met on here very much, all kinds of different people (and god know I am!) laughing and vaping together -- with not too many jackasses!!!!:lol::lol::lol:

You certainly summed up my experience with ECF as well.

I would have probably still been falling for the sneaky "free trial offers" and marginal vaping pleasure if it wasn't for this fabulous site and generous-with-their-advice members.

I love that the meetings are in a smoke-free environment...there I said it.

Happy Anniversary. Thank you to ALL who make this journey so much fun and spam-free. (the AssClowns still abound but who cares)

I love this community I have become a part of. It has literally saved my life, unfortunately not my bank account :). I have gained so much knowledge and made many great friends. ECF is such a great asset in my life.

Highlights:
Sept. 22nd 2009 started using my M401 (That was my youngest daughter's birthday and my gift to her was quitting)
Sept. 24th joined ECF
Shortly there after got into modding and made a few mods.
Dec. 16th was accepted into staff as a moderator.
June 8th was promoted to Admin. (also appointed as the contest officer)
Sept. 27th Grand Opening of ECF store

I would like each of the staff members, as well as the membership, know that you are an extended family. I hope each of you have a wonderful holiday. It has been a pleasure serving each and every one of you this past year and I look forward to another great year!

Three years already !!! It does seem like just yesterday that SJ announced the two year anniversary.

My personal accomplishments ??
Started vaping early in September, 2009.
Quit smoking on October 29, 2009, I just celebrated my one year smoke free anniversary.
Most important !! I survived here for a whole year, without getting banned !!! :)

ECF is a great place to be. I don't belong to any other forums and I'm not interested in joining any other forums.

First the formal Happy Birthday to ECF!!!! and many more! I,ve been here over a year and as a smoker for over 40 odd years never thought I would give it up then I found e-cigs and ECF.Bought a few very generic kits prior to joining then bought my first real mod,a janty stic from Angus through the classifieds(remember that Angus? You were'nt even a mod yet!)and that stick became the catylist for my finally giving up the ol' analougs!Since then I've tried many types of PV's .attys and juices and now here I am analoug free!Ok that was the vaping part now for the heart part...The info here at ECF is great but ECF has become so much more than that to me;it has become a family one I am blessed to be part of.The support, kindness, caring ,compassion, friendship and even love is what I've found here. All the joys and sorrows of so many folks all over the world are shared in this on-line world.I thank God each day for this forum and pray for the members here.May ECF continue to grow and may the good Lord continue to bless each one of us.Sincerely,Gramakittycat

Happy Birthday ECF!

The real milestone will be 1 Million Lives Saved By ECF but I guess we won't know when that particular mark is reached - or perhaps it has already been reached, the huge traffic the site now has makes that possible.

And also, a big thanks to Angus... Because he's a backroom boy you don't know the extent of his contribution - but he's the main man keeping it all running, and we all owe him.

Moderate two social groups: ECF Library Annex and Wellness: Wrecked & Bonkers.
