@markfm Hey if you need to unload any of that coffee you roast let me know, wifey got me a coffee mill for Fathers day and my boys pitched in and got me a new coffee maker. So now I have the whereabouts to do it right.
Awesome :)

I should be roasting a decent amount next weekend. This weekend was a dive class and work on our camp.

I've been enjoying cold brew coffee lately. Awesome iced, and also a great hot cup when mixed with 50% water; very low acid.

Dive class what's to learn, you just go in head first instead of feet first, you can figure out all them fancy moves yourself later.

Do you do any dark roasts I've found myself stuck on them lately. The light roasts just don't seem to have the flavor punch that the darker ones do.

I generally go to a full city, can run them longer easily enough. I use a small air roaster, batch size fills a 9 ounce mason jar when done. The roasting only takes a handful of minutes/batch, I have a cooler set up right next to the roaster. Makes for a nice morning, running sets of coffee with the puppies supervising :)

I'll send some darker, plus some lighter -- I have a few varieties that have a great chocolatey tone at a city roast level. They make for a super cold brew coffee :)

Gotta get the approval of the puppays, I used to have a do that loved coffee beans when I'd grind for the weekend she'd be practally between my feet the whole time hoping I dropped one or two. On the rare occasion I did she'd snatch it up head for her kennel bed and your'd hear crunch crunch crunch. I was kinda worried at first but it never seemed to bother her. She loved Rigatoni too as long as it was raw that is. Just another crunch fest for her.

@markfm How's your weather up there in the cool country, we're gonna hit about 102 today. I've got berries coming on like mad. Gonna have to jam it up real soon, I made a batch of Blackberry Gelato for fathers day and wifey and I ate so much at the Brazilian Grill our son took us to that we didn't even have any. We tasted it ranted and raved about how good it is then put it back in the freezer. I'm considering having it for breakfast over a sliced banana, that'd be like having cereal huh. :D

Low 90s yesterday and today (only upper 70s where I was doing the student checkouts -- beautiful :) ), getting cooler rest of the week, 90s again over the weekend.

I'm dying to get our raft/boat back in the water, but have to work on camp finishing touches for when the in-laws come in Sunday. It's a 2 week visit -- we'll have kayaks and canoe out for them to use, but I doubt I'll get to do my boat work until 2nd week of July.

We're in prime strawberry season right now.

My blacks were getting out of hand and the neighbor and I did a horrendous cutback, left me thinking I'd be having a light berry crop this year.

sorry bout the one up top not sure how it happened. So yeah not so much a lighter crop. I've already frozen 12 lbs and the neighbor has gotten about as much as me. Pics are after first 6 lb picking. Have to pic tomorrow or they'll be dropping on the ground. I know the birds are eating some of them by the sign of it around, but I swear you'd never know it.

Hey ECF'ers. Hows everyone been? So heres something, recently got really sick and I find my taste of liquids have changed so much since, that many of my favorites are just tasting disgusting. I was sick Wednesday of last week and wasn't able to even touch my vape. Thursday I tried it after lunch and it was not pleasant. It was Friday before I picked it up again for any amount and then it wasnt pleasing in flavor. Im wondering what happened and what I can do to help it. I tried making a new flavor but it was worse then the first flavor. Any suggestions?

@nlgeekdad You might try vaping some pure VG no nic no flavor for a tank then mix down one of your flavors to half strength nic and flavor. You might kinda reset your taste buds that way. Wifey vaped some like that when she first started on a new med that weirdly enough left a nasty taste in her mouth about 4 hours after taking it. It seems that some people get it right through the pore of their skin and even smell strange from it. Thank god it wasn't agreeing with one or more of her meds the dr. changed it.

@nlgeekdad glad you are feeling better. Hope you figure this out.

Thanks @GPC2012 I have been finding it so weird and I hate how its making me feel because as y'all know we love our vape. I love not having my analog needs and much prefer the art of vaping. hoping this will work Ill make the switch out this event. I was almost thinking about getting some black licorice but aint got the flavor. I was thinking if that didnt reset my taste buds nothing would LOL, but I think Ill try yours idea first.

I miss having a berry bush. Was at NY grandmothers house when I was younger. It was huge, my cousin ended up living with her for a time, she cut it down and burned the area. I was a bit ...... off. She said she wanted a spot for a fire pit, but she never did anything with the area so it was just a large dead area.
