I get that something like a Protank could be considered neither a carto tank or a clearomizer, and with the completely "disassemble-able" versions, they are closer to carto tanks in form and less like a clearomizer. When folks talk about their "fabulous new Protank II or Davide" bla bla bla... in both the tank and clearomizer forums, it suggests that the owners themselves can't decide what they are either.

Do you discuss them in the clearomizer forum because they have clearo coil heads, or the tank forum because they can be disassembled, and look, like a carto tank?

Regardless of external form factor, the Protank is still a clearomizer. Yup, pretty sure it is. :)

I would be on that side of the fence myself... but what to do with all the folks who, by posting Protank threads in the tank forums, one could argue that they believe they are in the same category as carto tanks? Interesting development, don't you think?

Hopefully plastic just becomes obsolete.

They should just go with the pp plastic that is juice safe. Sure, it isn't clear, but it doesn't disintegrate.

I don't see a reason for sub forums, it would just muddle things. Many of these devices, regardless of the type of material, use the same coils and are basically the same design.
