Maybe this has been done before, i dunno.
I just got my first 5-pack of ECHO-e carts, the description said "fits any 510 battery connection" but it didn't say the threads are recessed so they wouldn't fit my Roughstack or my box mods. I put one on an old 510 battery and the awesomeness was such that i had to make it work for me.
It's pretty simple and straightforward, but i took a few pics anyway. It took me all of twenty minutes or so to make an adapter from a couple dead carts.
First i pulled the sleeve off the old cart, gentle-like, wiggle it back and forth...
... then since i buggered up the sleeve i cut one off another with a Dremel, stuck it on the fitting and soldered up the wires ...
... voila ... and with the bigger battery the awesomeness is all the more awesome...
Yeah, it could be much shorter, and i'll probably make one, but that wasn't my immediate point.
