Echo e carto, anyone enjoy, and is it rebuildable

I'm checking these out, after rounds with various clearos that are inconsistent, looking for solution.
im wondering if people are still using these and their experience with them. Good or bad.
Also wondering if these are really rebuildable I found a video where a guy looks to be replacing coil. This would be awesome!

would this work, can it be done? I know they are cheap but I like to keep things going as long as possible. Those that have had these what do you think of them, can you get the bottom off? Availability of these seems minimal vendor wise, why is that are they no good? I like the smoketech standard 2 ohm cartos will these perform similarly?

I have no issues rebuilding any clearos by hand. Just wondering before I order these if its possible, and of course if they are any good.

They vape really well. Why they are not more popular I couldn't tell you.

Yes, they can be completely disassembled and re-built. While I have had no luck introducing a new coil, I have disassembled several of them for cleaning and the process is pretty easy. There's also an easier method to introducing a new coil without having to remove the center air tube. You can introduce a new coil in through the bottom by removing the center pin, but you'd have to thread the wick through the coil after it is positioned.

You'd get better help on the Echo cartomizer in the Echo thread. Charlz and Los Marauder have been using these things for over a year now and should be more than happy to help you with re-building them.

Most of us use the regular Echo cartomizers, though I also use the Echo-V made for the 808-eGo batteries. The process of dismantling them is all the same.

In the States you can find them at Mountain Vapor, Cropduster-901 and NHaler. Northwest Vapors may have them as well, but I think Mountain Vapor is the only vendor selling the dual coil cartomizers.

You probably will want a different drip tip for them. I use the hard plastic tips off of 801 carts, but any 801 drip tip should fit. The ones from NHaler don't though.
