Ok, just got my Echo from cdnvapor.ca in today (woot!) and just firing it up... damn! Wow!

I loaded some spearmint into an included 808 bottom coil carto, and it was like a punch in the face. On my old RN4081, the flavor was really muted. Not now! The Echo found a ton of flavor to put out, along with a good cloud of vapor.

The second battery is charging, and I'm running on whatever charge they shipped with, so I will update this thread as I continue, but for now - yeah, I'm pretty happy with my choice.

Following up on my original, I'm still loving my Echo. The batteries are lasting all day for me, and I've found that the cartos are lasting two. I try not to run dry, but i'm happy that I can get that much mileage out of them in a pinch. So far, the three cartos I have been using haven't been subject to the 'bad taste' syndrome that seems to have affected other Echo users.

Sadly, I haven't received either of my two juice shipments for further experimentation with flavors (particularly how much they change between my RN4081 and Echo) as Canada Post workers are locked out at the moment. I'll try and update if/when they arrive. ;-)

Following up again: short of a mod, this thing is *exactly* what I was looking for in an e-cig. Batteries still lasting all day, and I'm still using the original cartos on a regular basis. I do rotate through a few different ADV flavors, so they aren't getting used every day. I've also been really careful not to let them run dry.

The only real issue I'm having is with the flimsy whistle tips that come with the cartos, but I have ordered some 801 tips (nhaler.com) which should fix that issue.

I think that it really does make for a great starter - lasts all day (battery AND juice), while still being a simple enough unit. Short of a bottomfeeding mod, it really doesn't get any easier than this...

If you ordered the aluminum 801 whistle tips from Nhaler they won't work very well they are too tight and you need pliers to get them off if you force them on. The best I've found are the hard plastic 801 cartridge tips from nhaler. They are 4.00 for five and just pull the tip off the cartridge and it fits perfect. They are easy to grip with teeth for vaping hands free with the echo auto.
Most standard Delrin 801 drip tips work though and the aluminum whistle drip tips from Ikenvape work on the Echo.
The only difference between using the 801 drip tip and the 801 cartridge tip is you do get some condensation build up with standard tip whereas the drip tip has a larger hole allowing the excess vapor to escape. I just blow the tip out when I get a little taste of juice and it is fine for a couple of hours.

Thanks, TX!

I did order both delrin and aluminium drip tips, but not any of the cartridge tips. How do the cartridge tips you're recommending compare to what comes with an echo carto? Harder plastic? Better fit?

Hard plastic and they fit really good. They won't come off unless you pull them off. Nhaler is the only vendor that sells that type of 801 cartridges that I know of, most have the rubber tips.
