The first of this year, in Jan. and Mar., I had a hospital stays. I found out
a few months ago that my problem was COPD. My smoking began when
I was in the military at age 19. Likely long before half or more of you were
born.

I felt a need to quit for years and last Nov 1st I gave ecigs. a try.
I had about half a carton left of regular cigarettes (analogs) and the most
of them I smoked after starting ecigs., was 4 on one day. The rest of the carton lasted me into this year.

Now for those of you who suffer with breathing difficulties, I wanted to tell
you about my Drs. reaction to ecigs. (Pulmonary Specialist) He was mostly positives of this in comparison to regular smoking. I went in for the second visit this past Tues. July 13, and my previous lung capacity was 48%. It had improved and the seemed to be very up-beat that I had not smoked. I was not given a percentile on improvement. I wanted to share my joy
on having such a positive physical reaction to ecigarettes.

I would love to know your percentile of improvement.

Me too V. My first appointment was a much longer testing time on breathing.
This second test was very abbreviated, but likely pretty accurate as they had me hooked to a machine to measure input/output. The way the Dr. reacted,
was definite improvement. I will see him again in Dec. and will ,the next appointment check ,be sure to ask on the percentages.

Of course, I am at risk as all COPD folks are, especially in the winter. Someone may have a slight respiratory problem and not feel bad; however
if I get it....it is a huge infection. So, I'm not saying all is wonderful. I was
told to be very careful about what I expose myself to.
