So I've been vaping for two years after smoking for 10. Tonight, I don't know why, I decided to stuff a tiny piece of paper towel in my tip to see what it would look like after a little vaping. It looked worse than the worst cigarette filter I have had. I was not aware that so much particulate was making it in my lungs! I generally have regarded vaping as much better than cigarettes, but I never assumed they were safe. But dang! I'm now wondering if that is a flaw of my set up or if they are all that way? Has anyone ever experimented with this?

I'm using an Aspire Nautilus on a Tesla.

what does unflavored vape taste like? and why would it not have any particle?

It used to have a sweet vanilly taste when I started using it maybe 3-1/2 yrs ago, now my taste buds have adjusted and I mostly just taste the Nic in it. Tastes like a Murlbaro Light minus the burnt part.

I'd think it'd have much less particulate matter in it then after flavoring and coloring is added. Didn't mean to infer that it's clean and totally harmless in comparison.

I'm no scientist, but wouldn't a much more reliable test to be to blow through a material (ie: paper towel) after taking hits?

Not really. The most interesting question is "what is going into lungs?" After this question is answered we can ask "and what is going out?" Then, using simple subtraction, we will know what remains in our lungs. What was consumed.
