Hi there all...
Currently using a Ego c- twist . Experiencing some problems.. Not sure if it's the "tank prob".. Prev used my my first ecig also had the same prob. Sometimes I can't vape properly there will be " three flashes or blinking lights "w hen I press the button and I have to adjust the tank like screw it open and loosen it a bit from the device in order to vape. Anyone knows what the problem could be? Am considered a newbie to vaping . Prolly 2/3 months old..
Would changing my tank help?

Is your battery charged? When did you charge it last?

Also, sometimes you can tighten the tank too hard onto the battery and cause a short. Did you build your own coil or are you using a factory coil that came with the tank?

Hi !:) thanks for the prompt reply! I'm not personally sure but am having problems with charging too so I'm not entirely sure if it's fully charged. The charger just stays green or no light when I connect my coil to it . Sometimes if lucky it would charge and blink red.
Factory coil but tank I bought it separately . Had the same prob with my prev one too.

Is there anytg I could to to rectify it however I'm not v good at fixing it.

How long have you had your battery, your eGo Twist - since you started vaping? It may be drained at this point and won't recharge. They say each one can last up to 300 recharges, but I've found mine don't usually last that long - about 3-4 months tops, and that's with several batteries going at one time.

If you were tightening the tops, the tanks, onto the battery really tight, you also may have pushed the center pin down that connects to the tank and causes it to heat up. When that pin gets pushed down, it won't make contact well with the tanks or the charger. So, that may have happened as well. But, it sounds like you need a new battery. I would get a back-up when purchase a new one, just so you have one available for times like this.

I used it for prolly less than a month. Thanks for providing the explanation ! But wait .. U were talking about new battery... Is the battery within the coil remvable?
Thinking of ordering a new one online but my country bans importing. Wondering if there are any webs that help package it in a way it won't be obvious it is ecig from the external packaging

If it's less than a month old, it should not be dead already then. The battery is the eGo Twist, that is the battery. That is what gets charged. The coil is in the top, the tank, that holds the liquid that you screw onto the battery.

I have no idea who you would be able to order from. Maybe check with fasttech at FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics or look at the singapore thread here. Someone may know where you can get one locally from this forum Malaysia Forum

sounds to me like you have a bad battery. It happens. Hopefully it is under warranty being so new so perhaps the company you bought from will replace it. If you need to replace it yourself, I also agree to get 2 batteries. That way you have one to use while the other charges and if this happens again you still have a battery to use while waiting for a new one. The vendor links are good recommendations IMHO.

Good luck!

3 flashes of the battery would usually indicate no charge left. But from what you said about loosening it then it will work and the fact you cant get it to charge proper when you screw it in the charger. It sounds like you have a problem with the circuit being competed to make to work or charge. Try cleaning the pin and threads of the battery with tissue also do same thing for the tank. And if your feeling brave , turn the battery to its off mode and gently lever around the edge of the centre pin like in these pics

I would say its the centre pin or threads that are causing bad contacts stopping the circuit from being made.
DONT PRESS THE BUTTON WHEN YOU DO THIS

its been my experience that there is a bad connection usually a wire that barely soldered
or touching another contact point.
some ground wires on the connector are justed stripped at the end and they fold them
over the end of the base where the top is pressed into the tube to ground the connector to the tube.
