eCigMods.com - Warning to People using Trustfire 14500's

The latest batch of 14500 Trustfire batteries that I got from China are defective. I've opened 5 packs now (2 per pack) and all of the batteries are registering at 6V straight out of the packaging. I have not charged these and they show 5.95-6.01V. I am waiting to hear from the shop I got them from, but I would advise anyone using these batteries to test the voltgae (sorry bad battery joke - intentional mispelling) and make sure it is the standard 3.7-4.2 that will be on a fresh battery.

I've gone through 9 atty's in the last 2 days ... and just figured this out this morning. Who would ever expect a 3.7V battery to run at 6V?

Me too! I've been wondering why they don't make a 6 V. No more stacking 2, 3V. Cool.
