I haven't touched an analog in just over a month (Congrats to ME)

So I thought I'd take the time and access what, if any changes have taken place, and I'm kinda amazed.

after years and years of smoking, some of my finger nails have gotten 'smoker colored' (due to staining & lack of oxygen in the system) = this has been clearing up more then I thought was even possible. (Not 100% back to normal but such a huge improvement)
A similar thing can be said about my teeth- they are getting whiter now! Without be changing my toothpaste nor any other tooth behavior.

Now I do want to point out, I was never dirty or anything, but there was tobacco staining that nothing was fixing, now just quitting should prob do the same thing for me, but I like how I still get all then benefits of smoking with none of the negatives. I feel healthier, I look healthier, and I still get my nic!

Dana, give it time. I was up to 2ppd for 35 YEARS before I quit. I noticed in the 1st six months I could breath easier, now a few years later, I'm almost back to something around normal for my age. Lungs are one of the few organs that can actually regenerate good tissue. Will you have some permanent damage? Probably, but it took years for you to fubar your lungs, give it a few years before you give up on them!

Congrats & drink lots of water. I smoked 3 pd for 50 yr & in 26 days there is a tremendous improvement. as was stated, the lung will regenerate it self. Did I say, drink lots of pure water?

Yes. The amount of air I can get into my lungs only after 3 months of vaping is amazing. I've always been a hiker and live at 1 mile (5000 ft) above sea level and hike to >2 miles above. I used to fool myself when I'd first get going... "I just have to get my second wind" I remember telling myself. I'm not back to where I'd like to be but I know I'm on the right track and staying on it with vaping.
