How do I know this? Empirical evidence. Consider the following:

1. I keep my KR808 in my bra. What? Am I the only one?
2. I just went to the ladies - it wiggled out and fell into the toilet
3. No, I hadn't flushed yet
4. I stuck my hand in there SO FAST. Didn't even think, just went in after it.

So I threw away the carto, of course, and washed off the battery. We'll see if it still works.

Actually, I dropped an eGo outta my shirt pocket into salt water twice down at the 'office' (local boat ramp). I was quicker than a heron on a finger mullet in retrieving it. Still using it!

Good luck with that battery. You could try shaking it down toward the threaded end (if it has an opening) then sticking it in a glass full of uncooked rice. I've heard that can help dry a battery.

I wonder if blowing a hair dryer at it would help too.

I take one of my boxmods when we go tubin' in the Smokey Mountains. It floats in a waterproof case lol!

The only area to be concerned about is the switch assembly. Place several small drops of WD-40 or Corrosion-X, around the button and let dry or dry as mentioned above.

BTW, I use Corrosion-X. It's not cheap, but it's the best I've used!

I try to be very cautious around water, especially toilets... I generally keep my eGo in the breast pocket of my shirt when I'm at work, and reaching down to lift the lid of the toilet scares me every time
