Yes...I think you have said that to me before. I guess that will probably be the route I will go at first. I guess since most flavors are PG based, and I want a 50/50 blend juice, I should go with a bit higher VG. Like...40PG/60VG so once I add my flavors, it's more on the 50/50 scope?

That sounds about right. Lessee... say 15ml, 20% flavor is 3ml PG. 40% of the remaining 12 is 4.8 so 7.8ml PG... 7.2 VG. Yeah, that's in the neighborhood. And I picked 20% flavor just because it's a nice round number, not as a "recommended" amount. You have to play around to see what you like in flavor amounts.

Oh and sweetener? I buy Stevia "to go" liquid at the grocery store. Works great.

Never heard of Stevia. Would the sweetener on the Wizard Labs site be pretty much the same?

You would be fine in starting with a 50/50 blend. Too much VG makes really thick (clogable) juice. I, personally, like a 70/30 pg/vg ratio.

Clogging doesn't bother me much...I can rebuild my coils in minutes and have tons of them. I also have a single coil dripper. I like a lot of flavor/sweetness, but minimal throat hit. Most of my best flavors (IMO) are 50/50 blend. I have one that is a 65VG/35PG that I like and mix half and half with a 50/50 blend of another flavor. I like mkbilbo's math on my initial thought. Think I'll try the nic juice at a 40PG/60VG to start, get some flavors and squirt away until I find what I like best. LOL

It's just over in the aisle with sugar and sweeteners (like Sweet-n-Low and the rest). My mom uses it in her tea. Like a lot of things, it's a matter of taste. The one at Wizard is basically liquid Splenda (sucralose). Which you might find at the store as well.

Yes but isn't it more exciting than smoker ever was? I also think ecf is pretty darn addictive too. And the mixing. And the rebuilding coils. Yes I think it is a addicting. Thank goodness. :)

I think ECF is way more addictive than e-cigs! When they had that last big outage, back in early March, I was on smoke-free day 5, and that day, I got that whole absent, fuzzy, unable to focus thing that usually goes with quitting smoking -- though I hadn't suffered it at all, when ECF was up, and as soon as it came back up, it went away! I swear it took me 3 hrs to cook breakfast that day!

And the coil rebuilding... I was so dead-set against trying that, I was terrified of the whole idea. Now I'll do a new coil even when the one I'm using is fine, just 'cuz. :D I think it's a way of asserting supremacy over my old addiction, I can do this, and this, and this, and don't need those blasted cigarettes ever again!

I tried the DIY once, it was such a dismal flop I had no desire to ever repeat it. I don't know exactly what MFS blends to get their Virginia flavor, but whatever it is, it's magic, and I can't reproduce it, and I really don't care for any other flavors. I guess that's how they keep us coming back for more... ;)

I too have GAS bad but just as others have said I'm just starting to grind the spending wheels to a halt (or at least a slow crawl) and this new hobby is fun, different, and a huge hazard reduction to my health!! so even if I do spend a few more bucks on vaping, chances are I'll live a few more years and off set any additional spending with my annual salary! (I am a juicy rationalizer)

I got a starter dyi juice kit from onestopdiyshop.com. they have two - one $25 n one $35. haven't mixed any great flavors yet, just starting and having to wait to steep is fffrrrustrating. i'm in the buying, trying mode for juices now anyway - looking for the elusive go to juice... hmmm. also there is a great juice calculator, ejuice me up, with lots of recipies and info.

I'm excited about what vaping could potentially offer me, but so far it's been a nightmare trying to learn everything. Cleaning tanks and coils has especially been horrible. The learning curve has, so far, made it a uphill battle rather than an exciting experience.

Yes...the learning curve is a great one for sure, but I have no doubt you can do this. I was initially dead set against dripping or rebuilding atomizers/coils, but now I have a single coil dripper and rebuild my coil head for my tanks in minutes...and I am only into this about 2 months. What kind of tanks are you using? I use the Mini Protank 2's and the Aerotanks by Kanger. They are bottom coils units and to me are easy because they come apart and are glass so cleaning is easy. Just tank out the coil head an replace it with a new one. Since then I rebuild those and it's very easy. Trust me...If I can do it...you can do it!

I know your pain. I have gone from standard Ego, to Ego VV, now to the itaste vv v3.0. I am always seeing other things I want to try out. Money, however, it limiting me some right now. I would recommend flavors, but taste is so suggestive that what I like, you may not. I can say, try Lucky 7 Vapes. They have sample packs with 7 flavors each 12ml and they are really low cost with some good flavors. A lot of people like them. They have a lengthy shipping time (mine took from 4/25 to 5/10 to get to me), but for the cost, you still can't hardly beat it. I don't recommend getting the extra flavor shot(s) unless you really have a hard time tasting...and they will require some aging because they are mixed to order. Good luck on the juice hunt...I am still hunting mine too!:toast:

I think e smoking is addictive

Well...yeah...It has nicotine and all kinds of shiny gadgets to try out!!! :D Still better than smoking. At least we get something for out money and a healthier (I didn't say health....healthier) way to get nicotine.

I think e smoking is addictive

cant really confirm that, i am on 0 mg nicotine those days vaping is fun when friends visit, when there a a party, and with driking vaping is a must, but over the course of the day, i mostly dont vape at all, i start usually in the noon or evening, but i am way less hooked onto then on the pyros.

But GAS is quite a troublesome issue for me, well i am 6 monhts vaper now and as of today i own
4 APVss
14 Mechanical Mods
9 RDA s
8 RBA s
15 Clearomizers

just checked i stopped the pyros 278 days ago,
i personally think above is a scary amount, and weirdo me, still wants more

I think e smoking is addictive

I think its smoking in the same way that cookies, sex, working out, collecting blown glass sculptures, taking naps, drinking beer, chugging energy drinks, or watching an entire four seasons of a show on Netflix - its something enjoyable that may not necessarily be good for you in large amounts but in moderation you'll be fine and will make your Dopamine and Serotonin go all silly.
