Hi Everyone, finally have enough posts to post in regular forums. I'm just a few days in to the e-cig experience but already I prefer it to regular cigs. I really love it! Anyway, I had originally posted my question in the New Members Forum but, not surprisingly, didn't receive too much feedback. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried using their PV in local casinos? Overlord has tried local bars, and they don't seem all that favourable to allowing indoor use, but I'm hoping maybe the casinos are a little more receptive? If I can't get free drinks, maybe at least I can chain vape to my heart's content?? Thanks for your help!

So far....I have vaped in walmart...(stealth vaping really) and didn't have a problem.
My hubby and I went to a wedding reception in a bar and asked the bar tender if she had a problem with us using our ecigs and were told to vape away! We were in a KOA campground in Ohio and asked if we could vape in their non-smoking cafe and were told to go ahead (after a brief explanation of what it was) I vape in my son's psychologist's office! and she has no problem with it. My hubby and I both vape in our marriage counselor's office... I guess it depends on where u are ...and to date I always ask before I just do it.

I am presently on vacation at my sister in Montreal. She has allowed me to vape in her house, cool. There is only one liquid she doesn'care for and out of respect I don't vape it.

Out and about I have been vaping everywhere I go. Not in anyone's face so to speak, but not what I would deem stealth either. I feel like a toot, I take a toot. I just get the odd glance. The P18 does not look like an analog and folks just go on their merry way.

Climatising people is key IMHO. Most folks have a pretty good idea what you are doing. I can no longer count the amount of times folks have said «that's one of them electronic thingies ain't it?» I say yup! They respond cool. Inconspicuous exposure is what will win the race :)

ya like carguy said the casino's are tough. I vape pretty all over the place in Regina and all the bar's i have been to are ok and even taylor field but the casino gave me a hard time even when i was outside in the smoker's area.

Wow, that's discouraging. You would think the casinos would want to keep people inside where they're spending money, but I suppose they know the people will always come back. Given your casino gave you a hard time even in the smoker's area I guess I won't try being a trailblazer in mine and hope there will be more knowledge and acceptance with time. Thanks everyone, for your replies! :)

... and those words of wisdom is what we should go by IMHO. It took 25 years to ostercised somking/smokers, do not expect acceptance of miracles overnight. I was never a "in your face smoker" and respected the rights of non-smokers. I feel privilege that I was able to vape in my sisters home as well as my niece's. After all at this point it is a privilege, their is only one liquid she didn't care for, and I obliged by not vaping that particular liquid in her home. I had another 10-15 to choose from.
