So I caught the tail end of the show this AM but, they were talking POSITIVELY about ECigs on Morning Joe this morning!!!! FINALLY the word is getting out that ECigs are better than cigs (DUH) and more effective in helping people quit than other lame methods.

This is a huge step in the right direction for us all. Now, only if ...... like Bloomberg quit trying to restrict them (but he tries to restrict everything, Big Gulp size soft drinks..who does he think he is, Mr. Health Guru?) we can hopefully have the backing of the media which the vaping community so desperately needs!

I also searched and saw it written on the MSNBC page, but couldn't find the actual clip. Hopefully someone finds it and posts. I swear I was only drinking coffee this morning, cream and sugar not spiked w/Bailey's. I saw the last part of it and it was positive. Now the first part, who knows.

This is interesting and telling. Joe Scarborough is about the only host on MSNBC who is a Moderate-Conservative. It is telling that his show would present a positive perspective on vaping, on a cable news network that has been anti-vaping.

Thank you for sharing.

I agree. And though I'm not a regular viewer, my impression is that Mika B. is somewhat of a "healthist," so anyone reporting favorably on ecigs on this show is a good sign.

Mika is also a liberal. there are plenty of liberals who approve of e-cigarettes, so let's not start this business of pitting ourselves against each other again, please.

I am not trying to "pit" anyone against anyone. But if we start being less than honest, we just hurt ourselves in the long run. The "fact" is, from a political standpoint at the federal level, all attacks on vaping and calls for severe restrictions and/or bans, come from the liberal side of the political spectrum. I wish that wasn't the case, but unfortunately it is. I have no ax to grind from a general political standpoint, as I'm not a conservative. But it is this administration and it's liberal supporters in Congress who, from a political standpoint, have attempted bans, called for bans and called for severe restrictions. That is just reality. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be having this discussion or be fearful of their efforts.

True post is true. It's a fact that the biggest push for regulating e-cigs is coming from the same side of the spectrum that likes regulating things. It's not partisanship to point this out.

That said, it's also worth pointing out that the Attorneys General who wrote Margaret Hamburg in September urging FDA to regulate our devices hail from both sides of the aisle.

I wonder if these positive news stories, that are trickling in, were in any way a result of the World Vaping Day Media Campaign?

I hope we had an affect

I am sure that you, CASSA, others like you and all of the vapors that took the trouble to comment on good and bad news articles plaid a large role. When I first started vaping almost every news article was telling the world how dangerous this new fad is. Now the majority of these articles are more likely to have their facts more in tune with reality and more favorable to us. Where else would they have gotten this information from?

Not trying to be confrontational, would luv a link to support your statement. If one of the AGs are mine, I need to know!

Ahhh, so you like a bit of Baileys, do ya?? The best juice I've found for some Baileys vaping is Little Green Man at VapingMe. It's one of my 2 main vapes. Delicious!! I have 2 vape shops nearby and their Baileys is not even close to the taste of it.
