OK, I did some research and I see there's been a lot of debate on this juice. This was the first juice I ever vaped and I loved it for a long time, but I eventually ran out of my stock and messed around with other stuff (cf. my reviews of Vapor Station and Gourmet Vapor). While Vapor Station's Tennessee, RY4, and Frost were all pretty good, Gourmet Vapor's stuff was majorly hit or miss. Hungry (thirsty? lungy?) for an all day vape, I ordered some more ECOpure Rich from Cignot and here I am.
I ordered two bottles of ECOpure Rich (one 10mg and one 24mg) with the intent of mixing them. Small addendum here: does anyone else feel like nicotine strengths are not always consistent among different brands? That is, I feel like a 14mg vanilla juice from, say, Liberty Flights, is stronger than Vapor Station's 18mg Frost. Of course there are other factors involved, but I'm just saying.
In any case, both bottles of ECOpure Rich are 100% VG. As far as I know, no ECOpure juice is made with PG, so you're up a creek if you want that.
I direct dripped some 24mg juice into my just cleaned (or so I thought), almost brand new 510 atty. First observation: I hate the orange flavor from Gourmet Vapor. It is really difficult to get out of an atomizer, and even if you do you'll find the juice clings to your cartridges even after you wash them. When I finally got some vapor flowing, though, a couple of things occurred to me. First, the 24mg about punched me in the mouth. The throat hit is mammoth and so is the vapor. Second, the flavor is definitely much milder than I remember. I'm thinking that because I got the juices this morning that may mean they have to steep for a little bit longer. I'll update tomorrow on that. I vaped this stuff for almost six months, though, and I remember (apparently incorrectly) that the flavor used to be a lot more vivid.
I had a similar reaction to the 10mg stuff. I'll say, though, that though the throat hit is much mellower (obviously) the vapor production does not decrease at all. It produces huge, satisfying clouds of vapor. I love it.
I've found in my vaping experience that a lot of the time it takes a couple of days to get used to a flavor. For instance, with Vapor Station's Tennessee, I hated that at first. After I gave it a couple tries, though, it grew on me to the point that it became my all day vape. I could never get to that point with anything from Gourmet Vapor, though.
In any case, anyone else have similar/different reactions? I'm happy to be back in the ECOpure saddle. I missed having a comfortable, consistent, enjoyable all day vape.
