I finally got around to ordering the Ecopure line of juices. The only flavor I did not order was Ecopure Fresh as it only came in high nicotine dosages and I’m a no nicotine vaper. I ordered these from cignot.com. Man, were they fast. I ordered from Cignot and BWB within 5 minutes of each other. I was vaping the Ecopure 2 days later and still waiting for my ship confirmation from BWB. What I’m saying is, shipping was lighting fast. Thumbs up for Cignot.

One thing I’ve noticed about myself is the longer I vape, the more flavor selective I become. Juices that I found tolerable a few months ago are completely unvapable to me now. It’s the artificial sweeteners that ruin a juice for me. That chemical sweetness sticks to the back of my throat and makes me feel queasy. I recently gave away over 200 ml of different juices that I just couldn’t vape because of the over use of sweeteners. Basically, I need a juice that is pretty neutral and doesn’t give even the slightest whiff of chemical perfume. Cost has become a real non issue for me if I can find a juice that satisfies. Like shoes, clothes, and vehicles, it's only too expensive if the product is inferior.

Good thing I feel that way because at $1 per ml, Ecopure is one of the pricier options out there. Our own Vapenstein commented about this very topic on his excellent review blog, and I quote:
The price? Yeah, it's steep. Get over it. Life is way too short to vape crap.

Go tell it on the mountain, Vapenstein. Couldn’t have said it better myself.

I vaped all flavors on my trusty stock Riva510.

Ecopure Regular, 0 mg nicotine, 15ml
I keep hearing people wax poetic about how “clean” this juice is. My first impression doesn’t sync up with that opinion. Rather, I detect a very dry note with just a touch of tangy sweetness. I liken it to a citrus note like you would find in oranges. The juice isn’t orange flavored, though. It just gives that impression of sweet citric acid on the tip of your tongue.

This VG juice vapes very smoothly, with big clouds of vapor that more than fool the little junkie spot in my brain that I’m smoking. On a side note, I had a real cigarette for the first time in months a few days ago. I was completely disappointed with the experience. Not only did the thing taste like garbage, but vapor production was practically nonexistent. ;) Anyway, Ecopure Regular is a pretty nice neutral juice that goes with any food or beverage, it’s easy on the palette, and most importantly for us non nicotine vapers, it satisfies any craving in no time flat.

Would I purchase this again? Ayup.

Ecopure Rich, 0 mg nicotine, 15 ml
This juice is very similar to my all day every day vape, Backwoods Brew Malty. Like Regular, Ecopure Rich has a very dry note on inhale which is different from Malty. What is similar between the two juices is the impression of a fruit flavor, in this case raspberry with a citrus sensation. This is not raspberry flavored juice, but it hits the fruit flavor memory button in my brain for whatever reason. Rich has just the right amount of tart that I can see this being a second place runner up to Malty that I’ll vape nonstop when BWB is out of stock. I should probably note that I generally detest fruit flavored juice, and I have tried at least 70-80 different fruit flavors from different well regarded vendors. Fruit vaping just ain’t for me. So for me to describe this juice in fruit terms almost gives the wrong impression. Rich is not juicy fruity flavored, it just leaves the zingy feeling in your mouth and throat that comes from eating a fresh Clementine, orange, lime, or what-have-you. Rich, like Malty, is far less about flavor and all about texture and feeling.

Would I purchase this again? Certainly.

Ecopure Menthol, 0 mg nicotine, 15ml
Way back in the day, when I was young and a freakin’ idiot, I started smoking Marlboro Menthol in the box. I bought the box pack because it was soooooo much more sophisticated than a soft pack. I rolled my eyes even as I wrote that last bit. If I could go back in time and meet my younger self, I would have certainly smacked myself for even beginning to think smoking was somehow ‘cool’. But I did, and once the Marlboros started to make me cough, I traded to menthol lights and when that didn’t kick the cough, instead of quitting I decided to switch to regular ultra lights and continued swallowing those down like they were oxygen for the next 15 years. I guess what I’m trying to convey is that it was curiosity and maybe a bit of nostalgia that had me adding Ecopure Menthol to my purchase. In my opinion, the menthol was quite prominent, but this comes from a position of not tasting menthol for over a decade. This juice had a slightly medicinal flavor to me and reminded me of Listerine mouthwash, but not so much that it offended me. It did stick to the back of my throat and after awhile that sensation became unpleasant. Definitely not an all day vape for me. Also, my significant other asked me not to vape this in the same room claiming it smelled like a hospital.

Would I purchase this again? Jury is out, but at this point I’m leaning towards no. A menthol vaper would likely groove on this, though.

So is Ecopure really all that? It’s some pretty solid juice. It will not be taking the place of my beloved Malty from Backwoods Brew. The difference between Malty and Ecopure is the difference between perfect and almost perfect. Ecopure solidly scores a spot in my lineup, however. Give it a shot if you’re tired of getting beat over the head with triple flavoring this and perfumed food colored that.

ECOpure base is great for mixing too. All-VG tends to dull flavors, so you need to use slightly higher concentrations of the flavoring or concentrate you're using. Some flavors don't work so hot in ECOpure, but some are really good. I make a Torque 56 clone and Real Tabs using ECOpure base, and they're arguably better than the targets.

ECOpure Rich is my all day everyday vape. I love it. It's 100% VG and still packs the TH I have to have. And the taste is amazing.

I've been vaping a little over 9 months and have tried hundreds of dollars worth of juice. This is my favorite and I don't get tired of it.

When I fee like something different. I DIY with ECOpure Krystal.

That is probably the most interesting and useful review that I have read (and I have read quite a few)! I am also gals to see some of Cignot's grouping of flavors reviewed (since they rarely are). I began with Ecopure and Cignot's SAM mint as have been happy with both (keeping in mind tht I smoked menthols for 30 years). And finally, you are right, Cignot rocks (except for your questionable jokes Vicki LOLOL).
