Hi-

I wish to ignore a particular user but it comes up that I cannot because the user is a moderator/admin. If this is something that can be accomplished by an administrator, please let me know and I will send you a PM for the user in question.

This is the exact question I was going to post. If this is possible I'd appreciate it.

mod's need to be able to message users with warnings (assuming this user is a mod/admin on this site)..if the mod is harassing you I would report the mod/admin to their higher ups..if they are just doing their job warning you then I doubt there is anything that can be done. Did you try messaging this person and asking them to stop messaging or harassing you?

Oh, nothing like that. I would just prefer not to see this individual's posts. No harassment, just personal preference. Not even sure what the person mods or admins, or why he/she has that status.

Social group moderators are on the "no ignore list" . I'll see if our coders can work something in to the rebuild of social groups that allows them to be ignored outside of their social group. No promises but we'll look into it.

It probably won't happen because it is a pretty complicated issue and it may break things inside of the forum software - but the coders will look into it as part of the social groups update/upgrade/rewrite. I can't make any promises on this one because even though we feed our code monkeys the very best bananas, they can only do what they can do within the limitations of the existing software.
