PM Notification Pop-up

I moderate/help admin another board that uses this software and imo having the pop-up when you have a new PM is wonderful. Would you consider turning it on by default for new users? I think it's a great feature, but a lot of people probably don't even know it's there.

Other than that, I'm amazed that anyone (or a group of anyones) can manage a board of this size. Would love to "talk shop" with you sometime! I can't fathom how you keep spammers out with unmoderated registrations. 8-o

It also makes me feel better that I'm not alone in being called a nazi, overzealous, etc.

I Don't Think I even Checked it myself But it is already checked on my Profile..
I Personally always found it annoying when I first Started Using Forums.

UseLess for me to set it as I don't usually get messages.

Ex mod at 5 diff forums.
Still a Tester at 1 Forum.. *Private*

I always Try to give a hand where I can especially if I know the answer...
if I don't I try to research it & Figure it out.
Ya there is tons of options in All Forums..
Even more in the admin panels...
& Could even add tons more.

I use the pop up notification, as well. I kinda have to, as I get a ton of PMs every day.

If I start getting a lot of PMs from my board that's usually a VERY bad sign!

Cool! I saw a 1 in the PMs up at the top of my screen and was like "hmm, how long has that been there?"
