You're at a pretty low wattage - minimum for most mods (1.5 ohms and 6 watts is 3 volts)...
But the big diff is that people like the vapor and flavor of lower ohms. And when you go below 1 ohm, the wattage climbs VERY quickly. See your 8 watt setting? That's pulling 3.4 volts with a 1.5 coil.
If I want to vape a coil that's 0.2 ohms, and throw the same 3.4 volts at it, I need over 50 watts.
Yes, that's a lot of power - but if you give an atomizer good wicking and a bunch of airflow, you get a big boom of vapor out of it.

High airflow dripping atomizers are nothing at all like the Clearomizers typically used on a MVP.
