MAH is short for Milliamperage hours.
A 1000mah battery = 1.0Ah
We cannot tell you how long a 1000mah battery will last until we know the resistance of the load, the amount you'll be vaping (which is relatively impossible for you to tell us) and the amps or wattage that you'll be using with the battery.
The amount of time it takes to charge the battery is dependant on the output rating of your charging device and how well it is able to customize it's charge dependant on the chemistry of your battery. The lower the mah output of the charger, the more time it will take to charge your battery. Typically a run of the mill charger will output around 400mah which will charge a 1000mah battery in around 3-4 hours.
