2 hours isn't anything to be concerned with. Depending on the state of discharge it could take 4 or 5 hours to fully charge.

I agree, was using mine pretty heavily last night and when I charged it took quite awhile to get done. Probably around 3-4 hours, still running like a champ.

And the charger is getting a bit hot..

Hot or warm? Mine always gets a little warm during charging, I have the i2 charger. Also, it usually takes 3-5 hours for my batteries to charge. That's with vtc4's and purple efests that never go below 3.6v, usually between 3.7-3.8v when I put them on the charger.

Nitecore I2 chargers charge batteries at the 500mah level. A 2000mah battery can take 4 hours to charge if they are drained down to 3.2v or so. It's common to take 3 hours even if you charge them when they get down to the 3.5v level.

The i2 charges at 500ma. The i4 can charge at 750ma or 375ma depending on whether you use two bays or 4 bays at once.

The Efest LUC 4 charges at 500ma, 1000mah, or 2000mah (for 26650 batteries in the two middle slots only). The charge rate is switch selectable.
