Okay so I just got this battery today, the purple Efest 18650 2100mah 30A battery, it's been on the charger for close to 2 hours, I'm using the Intellicharger, and the battery isn't fully charged yet? Is something wrong?
Idk if you know anything about these chargers, but it has three LED lights to indicate the level of charge, when I put it on the charger it had the first LED light on, and the second one was blinking. Now it hasn't changed in the 2 hours, and the 3rd LED is still not lit at all
I agree, was using mine pretty heavily last night and when I charged it took quite awhile to get done. Probably around 3-4 hours, still running like a champ.
Hot or warm? Mine always gets a little warm during charging, I have the i2 charger. Also, it usually takes 3-5 hours for my batteries to charge. That's with vtc4's and purple efests that never go below 3.6v, usually between 3.7-3.8v when I put them on the charger.
2 hours really isn't anything to be concerned about and the warmth is normal to just keep an eye on it while it's charging since if something does go wrong it could possibly go very wrong.
Nitecore I2 chargers charge batteries at the 500mah level. A 2000mah battery can take 4 hours to charge if they are drained down to 3.2v or so. It's common to take 3 hours even if you charge them when they get down to the 3.5v level.
The i2 charges at 500ma. The i4 can charge at 750ma or 375ma depending on whether you use two bays or 4 bays at once.
The Efest LUC 4 charges at 500ma, 1000mah, or 2000mah (for 26650 batteries in the two middle slots only). The charge rate is switch selectable.
