Efest Blu6 Charger Android App Not Working

Does anyone know how to make it work? It connects to the charger, shows bluetooth is connected but gives no feedback and acts like I have no batteries charging. I'm using an LG G4.

A quick Google search revealed that others are having this problem with the app. It does require an established bluetooth connection between the app and phone and bluetooth pairing with your phone is required for the app to work. Some have uninstalled the app and reinstalled with success. Maybe BT pairing has to take place before installing the app. That would suck.

I have also read that it requires location set to on, I believe but not 100% sure on that I do not own one and haven't finished my first cup of coffee yet!

It asks for a passcode to pair and nothing seems to work. I've been trying to pair this damn stupid thing for hours. I hate it and wished i'd bought something else. I want to throw it out of the window. I hate it when technology makes your life more inconvenient.

Did you try the default passcodes like 1234 and 0000 to name a few?

Yeah tried those and my serial number. Nothing works. When I see videos on youtube people just connect through the app with no setup but that didnt work for me even though it shows connected.

Thanks for trying anyway. Efest haven't got back to me so I think i'll send it back and maybe get the model before it. At least then I can see all the battery voltages at once. Or one of these GYRFALCON All-88 8 Channel Digital Battery Charger

Well Efest finally got back to me after new year. Apparently I have a new version of the charger and the app on google play is the old app (there are 2 apps!). So I had to download the new app on their website. It would have been nice to know that when I received it. Could have saved a lot of hassle and frustration. All working now at least.

Go to efest website and new blu6app all is in the news section, it works for android...
